Study On The Influencing Factors And Economic Consequences Of Environmental Responsibility Performance Of Heavily Polluted Enterprises

The global economy is booming.However,while the economy is developing at a high speed,there are many environmental problems that cannot be ignored.Many well-known sensational environmental pollution incidents continue to warn people,such as “the Nodola”incident abroad,the London smoke incident,the major pollution incident in Songhua River in China,and “the cyanobacteria”.The frequent occurrence of these pollution incidents is undoubtedly a wake-up call for our blind pursuit of economic development and neglect of environmental carrying capacity.Since the middle of the 20 th century,the Chinese government has initially realized that the balance between economic development and environmental protection needs to be resolved.Even though Chinese enterprises are constantly improving in the exploration stage of end management and clean production,they are still in a passive state in the face of the balance between green development and economic development.As a result,the importance and necessity of corporate environmental responsibility has gradually emerged.So,what factors will affect the performance of environmental responsibility of these heavily polluting enterprises? In order to solve these problems,this paper takes the environmental responsibility performance of heavily polluting enterprises as the research object,and conducts empirical analysis based on relevant data to explore the influencing factors of environmental responsibility fulfillment of heavily polluting enterprises.What is the driving relationship between the implementation of environmental responsibility of heavy polluting enterprises and the influencing factors and economic consequences?This paper first carried out literature collection and theoretical analysis.The research status of environmental responsibility,corporate environmental responsibility performance influencing factors,and corporate environmental responsibility performance economic consequences are summarized.The research status of environmental responsibility is classified from two perspectives: empirical and theoretical.The research status of the influencing factors of corporate environmental responsibility performance is summarized from the external and internal perspectives,and then each factor is subdivided for aggregation.The research status of the economic consequences of corporate environmental responsibility performance is summarized from the three perspectives of financial performance,capital cost and earnings quality,and then the viewpoints are summarized from each angle.After summarizing the above status quo and combining relevant theoretical knowledge,the themes and supporting theories of this paper are determined.Secondly,according to the system of environmental protection responsibility rating of Hexun.com,the performance of environmental responsibility of enterprises is evaluated from five aspects: environmental awareness,environmental management system certification,environmental protection investment amount,pollutant quantity and energy saving quantity.From the "cause and consequence" as a whole,grasp the environmental responsibility performance of heavy polluting enterprises,and find out the problems in the implementation of environmental responsibility of heavy polluting enterprises.Through the empirical test method of structural equations,the influencing factors of environmental responsibility performance of heavy polluting enterprises and the potential variables of economic consequences are determined.Then sample selection and data collection were carried out,and the feasibility and authenticity of the experiment were determined by reliability and validity analysis.Experiments were carried out through model construction and testing,and path analysis was performed based on the experimental results and the driving relationship between the three was studied.Finally,make recommendations.In order to promote a faster and better construction of a harmonious society and sustainable economic development,this paper combines the characteristics of the environmental responsibility of heavy polluting enterprises with the results of economic consequences,and combines the characteristics of the socialist economy with Chinese characteristics and the two On the basis of the direction of economic development,four suggestions are proposed from the perspectives of the enterprise itself,the public and the government.From the analysis of this paper,we can see that enterprises can appropriately expand the scale of enterprises,improve the quality of corporate governance,and establish a good sense of environmental responsibility to actively fulfill environmental responsibilities.The government and the public are mainly the power of supervision,so the government can implement the environmental responsibility of enterprises.The situation is included in the inspection of government officials,and the relevant laws and regulations are regulated to play an important supervisory role.The media forces accept the overall supervision of the public.Various media means can be used to the maximum purpose,and the power of the masses can be mobilized to supervise the environmental behavior of enterprises;in summary,it will provide tremendous impetus and pressure for enterprises to actively fulfill their environmental responsibilities.The results of this paper show that internal and external factors affect the performance of corporate environmental responsibility through various functions,and the performance of environmental responsibility also affects the economic consequences such as financial performance,earnings quality and capital cost.Therefore,in order to promote enterprises to fulfill their environmental responsibilities,they should first focus on the scale of operations,regional environmental level,external pressure,corporate governance,etc.,and secondly from the positive response of financial performance,earnings quality and economic consequences of capital costs.Encourage companies to take the initiative to fulfill environmental responsibilities.
