In this paper, latex sponges was successfully prepared by dunlop method, and modified by rGO,high density polyethylene?HDPE?aerogels and silica?SiO2?aerogels respectively with styrene butadiene latex?SBRL?and natural rubber latex?NRL?were used as raw materials. The oil-water separation properties, electrical properties and thermal insulation properties of latex sponges composites were studied as follows:RGO@latex sponges composites were prepared by mechanical blending with rGO as modifier. The effects of rGO content on foaming properties, physical and mechanical properties, thermal properties, dynamic mechanical properties and cell structure of sponges composites were studied. The test results showed that the tensile strength, tear strength, hardness and resilience gradually increased, while the elongation at break and compression permanent deformation gradually decreased with the increase of rGO.The limiting oxygen index and the thermal decomposition temperature increased with the increase of rGO.Dynamic mechanical properties analysis showed that compressive modulus and stiffness of rGO@latex sponges increased with the increase of rGO.DMA results showed E'and glass transition temperature increased while tan?decreased with the increase of rGO.The results of SEM showed that rGO was well dispersed in latex sponges and had little effect on the cell structure of latex sponges composites.Super hydrophobic HDPE aerogel/latex sponges were prepared by TIPS using latex sponges as basic material. The effects of HDPE sol content on the surface micromorphology, contact angle,oil-water separation capacity and compression performance of sponges composites were studied. The results showed that with the increase of HDPE sol concentration, the contact angle of sponges and density increased, the porosity and the oil absorption ability decreased due to the absorption of HDPE aerogels. The oil absorption capacity test and repeated oil absorption test of different oils showed that the superhydrophobic sponge has excellent oil-water separation ability. The super hydrophobic property can be maintained after the deformation that can also recover the deformation by some ways. Then the super hydrophobic sponges were modified with rGO of different content. The results showed the surface of aerogel particles are covered by folding structure of leaves, indicating that rGO has good dispersibility on the sponge surface through TIPS.The electrical conductivity of rGO@HDPE aerogel/latex sponge increased with increasing rGO content, reaching a peak of 0.48S/m at a rGO content of 2wt.%,which is 9 orders of magnitude higher than that before modification.A certain degree of compression of sponges or a lower content of the HDPE sol can increase the electrical conductivity and the maximum is 1.56S/m.The SiO2 aerogel precursor solution was prepared by sol-gel method and the flexible SiO2 aerogel@latex sponges composite was prepared by a simple impregnation and coagulation bath using latex sponges as the basic material. The effect of different impregnation times on the mechanical properties and thermal conductivity of sponges composites was studied after getting the best preparation method of aerogels. The results showed loading rate increased and porosity decreased with the SiO2 aerogel increase. As aerogel gradually replaced the position of air in the bubble, the thermal conductivity of the sponges composite decreased gradually with the increase of the number of impregnation, and the minimum could reach 0.038W/mK.The mechanical properties test showed that the addition of SiO2 aerogel reduced the mechanical properties, but gave the composites flexibility and expanded the practicability of the composites.
