Axial piston pump,as the core component of hydraulic system,has been widely used in industrial,agricultural,marine,aerospace and other fields,and the distribution pair is one of the most important friction pairs in axial piston pump.Adhesive wear and abrasive wear often occur because of elastic deformation and unbalanced moment when the plate is working.At the same time,when the plunger pump is used in seawater medium,due to the poor lubricity and strong corrosion of seawater,it is easy to cause corrosion and wear of the distribution pair,which seriously affects the performance and life of the axial piston pump.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the lubrication characteristics and anti-friction mechanism of the distribution pair.In recent years,surface texture technology and plasma nitriding technology have been widely used in many fields as effective methods to improve friction characteristics of materials.Therefore,in order to improve the tribological properties of the axial piston pump pair,the surface texture and plasma nitriding treatment of 316 stainless steel were carried out in order to study the effect of different surface treatment on the friction characteristics of the pair.The main contributions are as follows:(1)The surface textures with different diameters(300?m,350?m,400?m)and different spacing(800?m,1000?m,1200?m)were fabricated on the surface of stainless steel by laser marking machine.The influence of surface texture of different parameters on the friction properties of materials under different loading(6N,8N,10N)and rotating speed(500r/min,1000r/min,1500r/min)were studied by orthogonal experiment.Taking the signal-to-noise ratio as the evaluation index,the optimum parameters were obtained as follows: diameter 400?m,spacing1000?m,load10 N,rotational speed 500r/min.(2)By using the best combination of parameters,different surface treatments were studied: stainless steel substrate(316),textured stainless steel substrate(ST-316),nitrided stainless steel substrate(PN-316),first textured post nitrided stainless steel substrate(ST-PN-316)and first nitriding post textured stainless steel substrate(PN-ST-316)on the friction characteristics of 316 stainless steel under dry friction and boundary lubrication conditions.stainless steel substrate(PN-ST-316)on the friction characteristics of 316 stainless steel under dry friction and boundary lubrication conditions.(3)Under dry friction conditions,the friction coefficient of ST-316 surface was larger than that of 316 stainless steel substrate surface.The surface friction coefficient of PN-316 increased overall and the fluctuation coefficient of friction coefficient curve was larger than that of composite treatment surface.The friction quality loss of ST-316 surface and composite treated surface were lower,and the friction coefficient were more stable.Among them,PN-ST-316 had lower surface friction coefficient,minimum wear and minimum surface wear.(4)Under the condition of boundary lubrication,since the surface texture can store oil and provide continuous lubrication,the surface of the ST-316 surface and the composite treated sample had lower wear and the friction coefficient were more stable,among which the ST-PN-316 wear amount of the sample was the same and the degree of wear was similar,indicating that the order of nitriding treatment and surface texture treatment under oil lubrication had little effect on the friction characteristics of 316 stainless steel substrate.(5)The surface texture of the distribution plate of A10V28 axial piston pump was processed,and the industrial test was carried out on the hydraulic test bench.The result showed that the textured distribution plate and the unprocessed distribution plate have similar performance parameters to the plunger pump,and the surface texture was successfully applied on the distribution plate.The wear scar of the textured distribution plate were finer and shallower,and the surface texture had a certain improvement effect on the friction and lubrication characteristics of the distribution pair.
