At present, the price competition in the Nd Fe B industry is becoming more and more fierce. Therefore, under the premise of ensuring the performance of the magnet, how to reduce the manufacturing cost of the magnet has become the main research direction. In this paper, the manufacturing cost is reduced by replacing some Nd in the Nd Fe B magnet with the cheaper and more abundant light rare earth element Ce,and a small amount of Dy element is added to ensure the coercive force of the magnet to improve the temperature stability. The Nd-Ce-Fe-B ribbons with different Dy contents were prepared by melt quenching method. The microstructure, magnetic properties and temperature stability of Ce-containing Nd-Fe-B ribbons with different Dy contents were studied.Impact.Subsequently,the ribbon was vacuum heat treated, and the effects of different heat treatment temperatures on the microstructure, magnetic properties and temperature stability of the ribbon were investigated. The main conclusions obtained are as follows:?1?The coercive force of Ce-containing Nd-Fe-B ribbon increases linearly with increasing Dy content from 0 wt.%to 3 wt.%,and the magnetic energy product increases from 0 wt.%to Dy content. When it is 2 wt.%,it slowly decreases. When the Dy content is 3 wt.%,the magnetic energy product drops sharply. The results show that when the Dy content is 2 wt%,the ribbon has a higher coercive force and a higher remanence and magnetic energy product. The unheated ribbon has a coercive force of 14.13 k Oe and a remanence of 6.94 k Gs.The coercivity and remanence of the ribbon heat treated at 710°C are improved. The magnetic properties are:Hci=16.60 k Oe,Br=7.19 k Gs,?BH?max=11.22MGOe.?2?The average temperature coefficient of coercivity and the average temperature coefficient of remanence of the ribbon show that when the Dy content increases from 0 wt%to 3 wt%,the test temperature zone is 313 K-373K,the absolute value of the average temperature coefficient?decreases from0.154%/K to 0.126%/K,and the absolute value of the average temperature coefficient?of the coercivity decreases from 0.401%/K to 0.398%/K.In the interval of test temperature of 313 K-473 K,the average temperature coefficient of coercivity of the untreated heat ribbon is-0.407%/K,and the average temperature coefficient of remanence is-0.229%/K;The average temperature coefficient?of the coercivity of the 710°C heat treatment ribbon is-0.334%/K,and the average temperature coefficient?of the remanence is-0.178%/K.The temperature stability of the ribbon after heat treatment at 710°C was significantly improved.
