Machining of high speed,high precision and automation development direction,puts forward new requirements for chip control,bad chip can lead to the interruption of cutting,the cutting tool breakage,triggering production safety,endanger the safety of the processing and technical personnel in the metal cutting processing,reasonable control chip can predict chip form,to ensure the safety of processing.However,in actual cutting,it is usually through the chip breaker groove to make the chip curl,flow and fracture in a predetermined way,forming an "acceptable" good chip shape,so as to achieve effective chip control,ensure the safety of processing.This topic with fluted cutter stainless steel cutting experiment and simulation as the research object,first using the principle of metal cutting,the cutting process is studied,on the basis of reducing the influence of slot type of chip forming rule,and through numerical simulation test,a kind of tool wear model to verify the wear parameters on the influence law of cutting molding.Secondly,through the finite element software to restore the cutting process,evaluate the characteristics of the chip forming process of complex groove and simple groove,reduce the chip crimp shape in the processing process,and analyze and study the control law of different groove sections.Finally,the anti-chip Angle was taken as the optimization object to optimize the chip control of the three-dimensional chip breaker,and the general optimization method was adopted to optimize the anti-chip Angle of the groove with the chip number as the evaluation index.According to the simulation results,it can be seen that the groove structure parameters have a significant influence on the chip forming law,this paper takes the anti-chip Angle as the object to preliminarily explore the optimization control of the chip,provides a new Angle for the research of cutting safety,and provides a new idea for the subsequent chip control research.
