New heat resistant steel material was currently used to high parameter and high capacity steam turbine now.Due to the high hardness of the new material,it is flexural strength of the material and plastic is very strong.We have no working cutting experience of this new materials,so it is very diffcult to machine this material.At present,MQL as a full embodiment of the concept of green manufacturing advanced technology,its application in the energy manufacturing industry is consistent with the current environmental protection and social development trend is consistent.Therefore,this paper takes the rotor of the turbine forging 13Cr9Mo2Co1 NiVNbNB as the research object,carries on the turning and milling performance test of this material,mainly through the cutting force and the surface quality in the cutting process to carry on the analysis,compare the curt force and machining quality,analysis the cutting tool wear,in order to provide the basis for the machining of the rotor forgings 13Cr9Mo2Co1 NiVNbNB of steam turbine.The results show that the MQL cutting processing of new heat resistant steel forgings can play to a good lubrication,relative to the dry cutting and wet cutting and MQL can improve the machined surface quality of the rotor heat resistant steel,to reduce the tool wear,to achieve green manufacturing plant.
