Dopamine as hormones and neurotransmitters has caused a very wide range of research interests in many years,it has become a hot topic again in recent years due to its unique property of easily formed poly-dopamine under alkaline conditions by coating on the substrate,and it has been applied in various fields including surface modification,electrical performance enhancements biomedicine and so on.Recently,polydopamine sphere(PDS)prepared at room temperature through a simple and modest way was reported out.This polydopamine sphere has many advantages,such as easy to control the size,uniform size,spherical surface,good dispersity and stability.By preserving catechol and other active reactive groups of dopamine,this PDS can react with many functional groups to obtain functional composites.In addition,because of its potential good biocompatibility and non-toxic properties,it has a great practical value in the field of biomaterials.This article take advantage of polydopamine sphere(PDS)controllable structure,regulated performance and the rich reactive functional groups,good biocompatibility,successfully synthese Ag @ PDS hybrid sphere which is nano-silver particles loaded on the PDS surface,and it focuses on the structure,mechanism,performance and antibacterial applications.Meanwhile,as part of the biocompatibility study,the Ag @ PDS has been applied to Lolium multiflorum on its germination and early growth,and compared with the conventional nano-silver and silver ions,it is desirable to solve the toxicity problem of nano-silver and expand its application.In addition,we also use self-assembly reaction of polydopamine sphere(PDS)and graphene oxide(GO),PDS intercalated into GO sheets and act a similar role as bearing to forme PDS/GO composite film materials with specific structure.Factors of ratio?PDS particle size and pH on the synthesis of PDS/GO film materials has been investigated,hoping to improve GO friction performance,and expand GO functional film applications.
