Due to the constraints of economic l eVel and management l eVel,China's rural areas have not yet fully realized the unified supply of drinking water.Some rural residents use groundwater as a source of drinking water.They can be treat-ed simply or eVen without treatment.The water quality can not meet the sani-tary standards of drinking water(GB5749-2006),in some areas,the problem of fluoride and arsenic in groundwater is prominent,and drinking water that does not meet the standard has great safety and health hazards.In view of the low l eVel of rural technology management,this paper studies the efficiency of pulsed electric flocculation treatment of rural fluoride and arsenic drinking water source water,and provides technical reserves for solving rural drinking water pollution proble ms.The experiment mainly uses pulse electrocoagulation to separate fluoride from the simulated water distribution,separate As(?)and simultaneously re-move fluoride as a metal material,plate spacing,forward current density,r eVerse current density,pulse frequency,and account for Optimization of parame-ters such as air ratio,initial pH,influent flow rate,initial reactant concentration,etc.,the optimal process parameters were obtained,and the mechanism of pulse electrocoagulation defluoridation and pulse electrocoagulation removal of As(?)was carried out under optimal process conditions.Explored.Optimize the pro-cess parameters for the actual decontamination of fluoride in drinking water,As(?)alone and the removal of fluoride in addition to As(?),and the actual drinking water quality indicators including turbidity,chromaticity,Conductivity,TDS,ammonia nitrogen and pH were measured and economic benefits were cal-culated.Experimental studies have found that when the optimized process parame-ters are processed into actual water bodies,the effect is significant.Defluorina-tion alone:The final removal rate of 5 mg/L of fluoride after treatment is 84.1%,the effluent fluoride is 0.79 mg/L,and the electricity cost for treating 1 m~3 of water is 0.1 yuan;separately,As(?):100?g The final removal rate of As(?)after treatment is 99.1%,the concentration of As(?)is 0.87?g/L,and the elec-tricity cost for treating 1 m~3 water is 0.09 yuan;At the same time removing fluo-rine and As(?):The final removal rate of 5 mg/L of fluoride after treatment is82.8%,the concentration of fluoride is 0.86 mg/L;the removal rate of 100?g/L of As(?)after treatment is 95.3%,the concentration of As(?)is 4.47?g/L,and the electricity cost for processing 1 m~3 of water is 0.15 yuan.The results of the study prove that the treatment of rural fluoride and arse-nic drinking water by pulse electrocoagulation is feasible.,the effluent water quality after treatment has reached the sanitary standard of drinking water in China,and the technology is economical and practical,and can be used in rural micro-polluted drinking water.
