Composite materials are playing an increasingly important role in today's industrial production.Among them,polymer composites have the characteristics of light weight,high strength and contribute to processing,which are widely used in practice,especially in the field of heavy equipment manufacturing.With the proposing of the sustainable development strategy,the selection of materials is more demanding.The most direct way to reduce the product structure is to use high-performance composite materials to replace traditional metal alloy materials.In the past,a single polymer material can not meet the increasingly stringent performance requirements.PC and ABS have similar main chain structure and similar solubility parameters,which provides a theoretical basis for the preparation of polymer resin alloy materials.At the same time,inorganic filler was added to the matrix of high performance polymer alloy to meet the comprehensive performance requirements of resin in practical application.The main research content of this subject is to prepare inorganic reinforced ABS/PC polymer composites by double screws extruder.In the experiment,the proportion of ABS and PC was first studied,and the experimental formula with good comprehensive performance was obtained.After that,the compatibility of ABS and PC macromolecule resins was improved by choosing suitable compatibilizer,and good polymer matrix material was the basis of preparing high performance composites.It is important to improve the reactivity of the strengthening phase,especially considering that the strengthening phase in the experiment is inorganic.In this experiment,the inorganic filler is functionalized by acid washing,coupling agent modification and sizing process,so as to improve the adhesion between the strengthening phase and the polymer resin substrate.The results show that the mechanical properties of ABS are improved with the addition of PC.When the content of PC is in the range of 60%-80%,the comprehensive mechanical properties of ABS/PC polymer alloys are the best.Continuing to add compatibilizer ABS-g-MAH to the system,the glass transition temperature of polymer alloys decreases,the micro-morphology tends to be flat and the phase becomes smooth,and the tolerance get better.Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)measurements of alumina particles treated with coupling agents show that there are characteristic functional groups of corresponding coupling agents on the surface of the particles,so the alumina particles have reactivity.The FTIR measurements and SEM photographs of the fibers after full functionalization show that the surface of the fibers is uniformly covered with an organic transition layer.Such pretreatment can help to bond inorganic filler and polymer resin substrateThe effect of different inorganic fillers and different proportion on the reinforcement of ABS/PC resin alloy was studied.Alumina particles,carbon fibers and?-alumina whisker fibers were added to ABS/PC ploymer alloy.The experimental results show that the tensile strength of the materials increases with the increase of inorganic filler content.This indicates that the scheme for the functional treatment of inorganic fillers is effective.The experimental group with carbon fibers had the highest tensile strength,and the experimental group with ?-alumina fibers had better comprehensive mechanical properties.The effect of the addition of ?-alumina fiber on the thermal stability of ABS/PC resin alloy was also studied.The results show that the thermal stability of the composites increases obviously when the content of single crystal alumina whisker fiber increases from 5% to 10%.The thermal stability of the composites remained unchanged when the?-alumina whisker fiber was added to 15%.The experimental conclusion shows that after the surface treated inorganic filler is added to the ABS/PC resin alloy.Carbon fiber and ?-alumina whisker fiber have excellent enhancement effect.Among them,single crystal alumina whisker fibers have bright performance in improving mechanical properties and thermal stability.In the past,fiber fabric or small wire harness fiber were used to make composite materials,which had high cost and complicated process.Therefore,the idea of composite material preparation in this experiment can greatly improve the production efficiency,and has guiding significance in actual production.
