| As a novel rapid prototyping sand casting method,3D-printing is capable of the production of any complex mould,which makes the flexibility of geometric design of sand mould improved significantly.However,the advantages of 3D-printing haven’t been brought into full play in the current application with the usage of the traditional mould design method and the lack of relevant theoretical research.It is necessary to establish the design method of sand mould based on the advantages of 3Dprinting,in order to develop the applications of new method.The status and the unique advantages of new method are analyzed,and the mould design direction for 3D-printing is obtained.To remove the defects of traditional gating system,the curved gating system is designed and the performance is verified by casting simulation.Based on the connection between printing speed and the structure of mould,the optimum design method of 3D-printed sand mould is established,and the reliability is verified.Because of the difficulty on chill placement with 3D-printed mould,new temperature controlling method is designed and analyzed by simulation,and the parting design method of 3D-printed sand mould is established.At last,the design process of 3D-printed sand mould is established,and the example of mould design is completed.Result shows that the casting quality and production efficiency can be improved,and the process difficulty can be reduced by using the design method of sand mould for 3D printing. |
