Industry 4.0 is positioned in the fourth industrial revolution led by intelligent manufacturing after mechanization,electrification and automation.Under this wave,all areas of manufacturing are pushing for intelligence.As one of the important industrial areas of welding,the development of intelligent welding is also necessary and urgent.At the same time,the welding of large thick plate cylinders and other workpieces in the ship,marine and other industries still adopts the lower-level automatic welding trolley to go for welding,which so many problems such as parameter preset,no sensing function,can not be adjusted online,invisibility of welding information of double-sided during double-sided double arc welding,and affect the quality of the final weld,so it is necessary to upgrade it.This topic is mainly to apply industrial IoT technology and software technology to welding,and establish a set of welding production intelligent control system for double-sided double-arc welding of large thick plate cylinders,so that the whole welding process upgrade from automated to intelligent and networked.According to a typical IoT architecture,this control system is divided into a sensing control layer,a network transmission layer,and an application layer.The original automation car was embedded in the sensing control layer,and the STM32 MCU was used as the control center,making it an intelligent terminal with sensing,control and network communication capabilities.The WIFI-based network was built on the network transmission layer.The wireless communication system and the data transmission network based on TCP protocol realize the wireless interconnection between the terminals of the whole system,ensuring the real-time and accurate transmission of data and commands.On the application layer,the upper computer control system and the manual control terminal are developed based on the software technology.APP realizes real-time monitoring,intelligent management,online analysis and other functions for the entire welding production process.The control system finally realizes the monitoring,management,analysis,storage and reproduction of the entire welding production process information,realizing the real-time and accurate regulation of the manual welding production process,realizing the automatic regulation based on the welding process information analysis and processing results,and reaching the intelligence welding purpose.Applying industrial IoT technology to the field of welding is the future development direction of smart welding,and this paper provides a good example.In the future,with the mature application of sensor technology,network technology and artificial intelligence in welding,the deep integration and integration of industrial IoT technology and welding technology will enable the welding process to be completely intelligent.
