With the implementation of Sichuan East gas Pipeline Project,Sinopec built planned to construct underground gas storages in Jintan Salt Mine,Jiangsu,which can meet the need of gas supply and peak load regulation in the Yangtze River Delta area.As the first salt cavern gas storage of Sinopec,technical problems remain to be tackled to solve the obstacle of the construction of cavern in the bedded salt formations.This paper analyzed the formation conditions in Jintan area,stated the influence of insoluble substance and interlayer for cavern construction by investigate the technology of cavern construction in the domestic and overseas.Recur to the theory of improved variable cross-section beam.This paper established the mechanical model of interlayer and solved the model by load and stress condition.In addition,it also considered the influential factors during cavern in bedded salt rock from with uncontrollable factors and controllable factors.By means of software,this paper simulated the parameters during different periods of cavern and applied the parameters optimization method in new well cavern project.In conclusion,this paper studied the cavern method and progress of salt cavern gas storage,obtained the stress conditions with different lengths and thickness,grasped the influences of layers and parameters for cavity constriction,got the method of parameters optimization and different period parameter.By applied the method in new well,we found it was superior to old method and can reduce the cavern period and costing.It can be used for guide the site actual cavern.
