After nearly 20 years of development,Shixi oilfield operation areas of Xinjiang oilfield company has always paid attention to exploration and practice of human resources management,but there are still gaps compared with the requirements of modern enterprise management.A complete and mature performance management system has not been formed.Therefore,how to study performance management,especially the design of the performance management system from the perspective of theory and practice are the questions need to be solved.Firstly,this article expounds on the relevant theories of performance management,including the meaning,purpose and characteristics,and gives brief description of the concepts,advantages and disadvantages of commonly-used performance management methods,such as key performance indicators method,target management method,analytic hierarchy process and so on.Secondly,this article analyzes comprehensively the current situation of Shixi oilfield operation areas in performance plans,performance implementation,performance evaluation and performance results,on the basis of which this article further studies the performance management problems existing in the operation areas and puts forward a new performance management system in conformity with the actual practice of the operation areas,which uses the analytic hierarchy process to re-design and re-calculate the evaluation index weight of the performance management system of Shixi oilfield operation areas,and compares the improved system with the original.Finally,this article puts forward improvement measures in order to guarantee a smooth implementation of the performance management system in the Shixi oilfield operation areas and to provide reference of performance management to Shixi oilfield operation areas and other related companies.Using the method of combination of theory and practice and based on the actual state of Shixi oilfield operation areas,this article puts forward comprehensive and operational improvement method of performance management system,which helps to stimulate the enthusiasm,loyalty and sense of responsibility of enterprise staff,to encourage employees to fully engage themselves in labor and creation,to guarantee the the realization of enterprise goals and to lead the enterprise to go on a stable development track.
