Based on the short contact catalytic cracking technology,quick-contact cyclone reactor techonology was put forward by China University of Petroleum(East China).The advantages of good heat and mass transfer performance,short contact time and real-time separation areavailable to slove the problems of heavy oil processing.In order to verify the experiment in the case of closer to industrial conditions and study the amplification rule of cyclone reactor,according to the characteristics and operating conditions of industrial equipment,a gas-solid cyclone reactor cold model experimental device was designed.The design includes to determine the process flow,the selection of process parameters and operating conditions,to make sure the size of main equipment,the process calculation of the pipeline,the calculation of pressure balance,equipment selection,the drawing of the general drawing and part drawing.Moreover,the numerical simulation of the two phase flow characteristics in the cyclone reactor,stripper and regenerator of the cold model test device was carried out.First,the column diameter of cyclone reactor is?170×10 mm,the diameter and height of mixing chamber are?400×10mm and 320mm,the diameter of tangential and axial inlet are?80×5mm and?100×5mm,the diameter of exhaust core tube is?100×5mm,the height of dense-phase part of stripper is 3m with 300mm in diameter,and the diameter of dilute-phase part is 300mm with 3m in heigh,the diameter of dilute-phase part of regenerator is 500mm with its heigh of 8m,the dense-phase part is 400mm in diameter,and 3m in heigh.Valve pressure drop of regeneration and spent system are 12.38 kPa and 20.49 kPa,with the calculation of pressure balance,which states the cold model apparatus is reasonable.Secondly,based on the process calculation,the detailed construction drawings are completed,including a piece of general assembly drawing and 52 part drawings.Further,paper studies two phase flow behavior in the key devices on different operating conditions with numerical simulation.The research results show,the distribution of solid holdup is uniform in the mixing chamber,gas-solid axial slip velocity changes slightly and tangential slip velocity increases gradually with the increase of gas input,therefor,the separation efficiency of cyclone reactor is relatively high when the gas input is 280~290 m~3/h,when the CTO fills out,the degree of gas-solid mixing is high in the mixing chamber,the axial gas-solid slip velocity decreases and tangential gas-solid slip velocity increases in the separation chamber,the separation efficiency reduces gradually,The solid holdup in the stripper decreases unevenly along the axial direction,as the apparent gas velocity increases,the solid holdup in the upper space increases gradually,which is unfavorable for the entry of catalyst and increases the load of cyclone separator,the solid holdup in the bottom of regenerator increases gradually,its upper part is opposite,the load of cyclone separator is heavy,according to the pressure distribution of simulation results,the pressure balance of the system is calculated and the pressure drop of value is close to the process calculation value,the design of the device is reasonable.This paper provides the theoretical guidance for basic research and amplification law of gas solid cyclone reactor cold model test.
