Polyoxymethylene dimethyl ethers(PODEn)which is considered to be a promising environmentally friendly diesel additive,is designed to improve fuel quality for the purpose of matching diesel and diesel engines to make diesel engines more efficient,less Oil consumption and reduce air pollutant emissions.Polyoxymethylene as a diesel additive is of great significance.The project design scale is 100,000 tons / year polyoxymethylene dimethyl ether.It has made innovations and improvements from traditional craft routes.Methanol is the most basic raw material for the reaction.Formaldehyde is formed from methanol and then mixed with methanol to form methylal in the reactor during the produce.And then formaldehyde and methylal as reactants get polyoxymethylene dimethyl ether through a series of process design,such as,reaction,separation,purification process steps.The simulation and design of the project process were mainly based on the Aspen Plus platform.The thermal integration analysis of the process optimized the heat transfer network to improve the energy utilization,and then did the material accounting and energy accounting of process.The standard and non-standard equipments involved in the project were selected and designed,and the specifications and models of the equipment such as rectification tower,reactor,heat exchanger,pump,tank and so on were determined.Have set up the factory place and plotted the total layout of the factory.According to the principle of automatic control in the process of design process,the automatic control scheme is determined.And according to the production process and related standards,the layout of the equipment is plotted and the layout plan of the equipment is drawn.Finally,the investment estimation and economic evaluation were proved that the project design was feasible with good economic and social benefits.Mainly the design for the polyoxymethylene ether production line has been improved to ensure that industrial production can be continuous operation,and put forward a new direction for future research issues.
