Rubber products are not only commonly used in household goods and medical products,but also widely used in aerospace,military industry,precision manufacturing and other fields.Due to the poor stability of rubber materials,the production,storage and transportation process is prone to inclusions,pores,cracks and other defects and damage,the quality of rubber products detection by scholars at home and abroad has been widely concerned.However,due to the high energy dissipation and hysteresis of rubber materials,it is difficult to detect the internal strain in real time and accurately by conventional detection methods.Therefore,the research on the real-time strain monitoring method of viscoelastic rubber material has great scientific research and practical value.Firstly,the constitutive equation of viscoelastic rubber is studied theoretically for the real-time strain monitoring issue of viscoelastic rubber.The response function of creep and stress relaxation process is derived,and the hysteresis of viscoelastic rubber is studied by finite element simulation.Based on the stable state of creep and stress relaxation process,the concept of relative stable state was defined,and the hysteretic characteristic function was put forward.Secondly,in view of the viscoelasticity of rubber materials due to the lag and uncertainty problem,design a kind of rubber materials can be used to viscoelastic strain real-time monitoring of polymer optical fiber strain sensor,and the sensor is a series of performance tests,including test range,stability,repeatability,the calibration experiment and the characteristics of temperature,etc.The experimental results show that the real-time measurement of the embedded polymer fiber strain sensor is affected by temperature.Its test range is 0~4mm(corresponding strain range is 0%~8%),the maximum coefficient of variation(repeatability)is 0.1144%,the embedded polymer fiber strain sensor has good repeatability stability.Finally,by embedding the designed sensor into the rubber specimen for testing,it can be seen that the polymer fiber optic strain sensor can better monitor the strain process of viscoelastic rubber material.In addition,The hysteresis of rubber material measured according to the tensile test data of different rates is the same as that obtained by theoretical calculation,which can better verify the correctness of the theoretical model in this paper.
