Based on the characteristics of large span on the micro-nano scale and variation of shapes, polymer microspheres have special and critical functions in basic research and practical industrial fields.Although the preparation of polymer microspheres is a hot research topic at present, traditional methods of polymer microspheres preparation have disadvantages on their liquid environment, chemical synthesis, dependence of solvents and equipments,as well as universality. The significance of research work in this thesis is to explore and propose a simple, inexpensive and environmentally-friendly synthetic method of polymer microspheres, which has no requirement on control of polymerization and no dependence of both solvents and surfactants.By this method, monodisperse polymer microspheres can be prepared controllably with a flexible size of scale.Besides, this method is extended to the synthesis of Janus microspheres, aiming to provides a new way to fabricate Janus microspheres and control the phase distribution.Main research contents of this thesis are as follows.Firstly, controllable preparation of fibrous arrays based on superamphiphobic surfaces.Polymer fibrous arrays were designed and prepared by microfluidic spinning on superamphiphobic surfaces.Following that,on the one hand, structures of fiber arrays were observed and analyzed by optical microscope, which flexible controllability of fiber arrays fabricated by this method was proved. On the other hand, special columnar morphology of fibers fabricated on superamphiphobic surfaces was obtained by scanning electron microscope and laser confocal microscopy, compared with fibers fabricated on normal surfaces.Secondly, controllable preparation of monodisperse polymer microspheres based on superamphiphobic surfaces. In this method, polymer fiber array was prepared on superamphiphobic surfaces by using the developed method in the previous step. Then a micro-patterned cutting platform was designed to fabricate micro-pattern of polymer fiber arrays.Eventually, monodisperse polymer microspheres were prepared by heating the micro-pattern.In the characterization process, the polymer microspheres were first statistically analyzed by optical microscopy, which proved that the microspheres prepared by this method not only had flexible controllability on size of scale but also showed monodispersity. After that, morphology of polymer microspheres fabricated were further characterized by scanning electron microscope and laser confocal microscopy. Finally, the method was applied to preparation of Janus microspheres, with a characterization of phase distribution of Janus microspheres. The feasibility of preparation of Janus microspheres by this method was proved, while the potential of control of phase distribution was discussed by ways such as changing the ratio of polymer components and adjusting parameters of heating.
