The ceramic-lined composite pipe has the advantages of high hardness,high wear-resisting property and high temperature resistance.It is oftcn used for the transportation of matal melt.The traditional raw material of making ceramic-lined composite pipe is made of Al and Fe2O3,but there arc many disadvantaiges,such as the low bonding strength and poor corrosion resistance.In order to solve these problems,we use Al and CuO as the main raw material instead of Al and Fe2O3.And the preparation process is sratic self-propagation.The method of controlling the coating thickness was studied.Meantime the cllccts of additive Cu powder,SiO2 and CaF2 on the performance of composite pipe were also studied.By sudying these contents to solve the problems of raw material waste,easy burning of the pipe wall,rough surface and high porosity.The results show that the method of inserting the core can control the thickness of the coating and reduce the waste of raw materials.The selected core is plant ash.When the core diameter accounts for 1/4 of the inner diameter of the steel pipe,the thickness appears the maximum value,which is 5.09 mm.And the performance of the composite pipe does not change much compared with the original.The additive Cu powder main influences the morphology at the bonding layer and the bonding strength between the coating and the substrate.With the increase of the addition of Cu powder,the bonding strength and the morphology arc improved gradually.Overall,the performance of the coating is good when the Cu powder addition is 9wt.%.The additive SiO2 affects the overall performance of the coating.When the addition of SiO2 is 6wt.%,the overall performance of the coating is the best.The morphology of surface and the bonding layer is pretty well.The bonding strength between the coating and the substrate reaches 15.31 Mpa.The density is 3.2450g/cm3.The porosity is 6.89%.The hardness is IIR15N78.8.The wear rate is 0.0020g/h,and the corrosion rate is 3.08g/m2·h.The additive CaF2 main influences on the surface morphology,density,porosity and wear resistance of the coating.When the CaF2 content is 3wt%,the surface topography is good.The density is 3.4051g/cm3.The porosity is 4.67%.The wear rate is 0.0019g/h.And it has less impact on other properties.The optimum formulation ratio is:Al powder:15.2wt.%;CuO powder:67.8wt.%;Cu powder:9wt.%;SiO2:6wt.%;CaF2:2wt.%.The morphology of coating is good,the bonding strength is 16.83Mpa.The density is 3.5467g/cm3.The porosity is reduced to 4.53%.The hardness is HR15N80.6.The wear rate is 0.0018g/h.The corrosion rate is 3.81g/m2-h.
