Petcoke is often used as a raw material for prebaked anodes.High sulfur content in petroleum coke will cause cracks in prebaked anodes,increase carbon consumption and increase resistivity,increase the concentration of SO2 discharged from electrolytic process,corrode electrolytic equipment,lead to environmental pollution,and cause the crystal expansion of graphite products to produce cracks,so that the temperature required for graphite can be increased and the energy consumption increased.Therefore,the quality of petroleum coke can be improved by pretreatment of high sulfur petcoke and removing sulfur,and its research has theoretical value and practical value.In this paper,alkali metal calcination and alkali metal microwave reaction are mainly used to desulfurization oil Coke,the research contents and conclusions are as follows:?1?When using Na2CO3 as Desulfurizer,the effects of calcination temperature,reaction time,type of petroleum coke and additive dosage on petroleum coke desulfurization with sulfur content of 5.56%?mass fraction?were investigated,and the desulfurization rate could reach 84.67%when the calcination temperature was1000?,the addition amount was 25%and the reaction time was 50min.By scanning electron microscope?SEM?,it was found that some pores and cracks appeared in the petcoke structure after calcination,and the fault structure increased,and the reaction was more complete,and it was found that the characteristic peaks containing S were obviously weakened by the Fourier Ye Hong External spectroscopy?FT-IR?drawing,and the X-ray Diffractometer?XRD?drawing found that The content of amorphous carbon and aliphatic branched chain in petroleum coke decreased and the crystallinity increased.?2?When using NaOH as Desulfurizer,the effects of calcination temperature,reaction time,type of petroleum coke and additive dosage on petroleum coke desulfurization with sulfur content of 5.56%?mass fraction?were investigated,and the desulfurization rate could reach 92.27%when the calcination temperature was1100?,the addition amount was 400%and the reaction time was 30min.Through scanning electron microscopy?SEM?,it was found that the petcoke structure was layered and had multiple particulate matter adhesion,and it was found that the characteristic peaks containing S in its interior were significantly weakened or even disappeared by the Fourier Ye Hong External spectroscopy?FT-IR?drawing,and it was found by X-Ray Diffractometer?XRD?that the spacing of the crystal layer of petcoke decreased,The particle size of the crystal increases.?3?When using NaOH as Desulfurizer,the effects of microwave power,reaction time,type of petroleum coke and additive dosage on petcoke desulfurization with sulfur content of 5.56%?mass fraction?were investigated,and the desulfurization rate could reach 75.58%when the calcination power was 700W,the addition amount was200%and the calcination time was 30min.Through SEM observation,it is found that there are many agglomeration phenomena in Petcoke after calcination,as well as the appearance of squamous structure rich in graphite characteristics,and it is found that the characteristic peaks containing S are obviously weakened or even disappeared by the Fourier ye Hong Spectrum?FT-IR?drawing,and the X-ray Diffractometer?XRD?mapping shows that The spacing of the crystal layer of petroleum coke decreases obviously.
