Because of their significant negative stresses to ecological systems and human health,increasing concerns have been paid to the ubiquitous occurrence of organic pollutants,such as dyes,antibiotics,herbicides,endocrine disrupting compounds and personal care products.Great efforts have been made on the efficient removal of ionic organic compounds by adsorption techniques,because of the concentration and immobilization of ionic organic compounds on the applied adsorbents.However,compared to non-ionic compounds,it is still a challenge to effectively adsorb IOCs from aqueous solution until now,due to their high water solubility.As a rising star of post-graphene two-dimensional nanomaterials,black phosphorus has gained more and more attention since 2014.Due to its few number of layers,it has a high specific surface area.Black phosphorus has been applied in electronics,photonics,and photothermal/photodynamic therapies in biomedical research.Recently,few-layered BP has been explored to serve as a drug delivery platform.BP showed a superior sorption capacity of 1080 mg g-1 for doxorubicin?DOX?.Therefore,it is of great significance to take few-layered BP as a new type of nano-absorbent material which can replace graphene.We want to develop its high adsorption capacity for organic matter to remove organic pollutants.In this work,UP water is used to directly peel the massive BP,and the two-dimensional black phosphorus suspension with fewer layers was obtained.The adsorption behavior of two dimensional black phosphorus on methylene blue?MB?was studied systematically.It was found that the two-dimensional black phosphorus prepared in the experiment have good adsorption performance,such as the adsorption capacity of bp-3?2130 mg/g?and bp-2?1008 mg/g?far exceeded that of other common adsorbents.In addition,the experimental data were analyzed based on temperature,initial concentration,adsorbent dosage,pH value,adsorption time and other factors,as well as adsorption isotherm model and adsorption kinetics model.Our study shows that a small amount of lamellar BP has a good application prospect in the effective removal of methylene blue in water environment,which may expand its application in the environment.
