With the rapid development of science and technology,microwave materials have been used in various fields such as aviation and communications,and play an indispensable role in all aspects of our lives.The electromagnetic parameters of microwave materials determine the propagation characteristics of electromagnetic waves propagating therein.In recent years,microwave materials have become more and more developed towards high permittivity.Therefore,the permittivity test of materials with high permittivity is very important.The permittivity of the materials to be tested is high,so that electromagnetic waves are not easily coupled into the materials to be tested,and thus some conventional methods for testing low permittivity materials are no longer applicable,such as transmission line method,perturbation method,and the like.This paper separately analyzes the feasibility of using the resonance method and some other methods to test high permittivity materials.For the resonance method,this paper mainly studies the test method for testing high permittivity materials by using ring dielectric resonators.The magnetic field in the middle region of the TE mode is the strongest and the electric field is the weakest,and the material to be tested is placed in a small volume to test the permittivity of the material.In this paper,the actual ring dielectric resonator test system is designed and built,and some high permittivity materials are tested.The test results are compared with that tested by other traditional methods.This paper has innovative value for the study of this method of testing high permittivity.In this paper,we also study the use of the gradual structure to match the high permittivity of the material under test,the pattern matching of the high permittivity material to be tested in a thin layer structure,and the insertion of the thin rod-shaped high permittivity material into a waveguide with a coupling hole in the center.Other test methods for the samples were tested and the feasibility of these methods was analyzed based on the simulation results.The analysis and research of these innovative methods in this paper can guide the future testing of high permittivity materials.The paper first introduces the background of the thesis,the significance of the topic,the research dynamics and the research content.For the annular dielectric resonator method,the theoretical analysis of the resonant frequencies of different resonant modes in different structural ring dielectric resonators is carried out.The theoretical formula is aided by MATLAB mathematical software,and finally the TE011 mode with relatively simple structure is adopted.to measurements.On this basis,the HFSS electromagnetic simulation software is used to simulate and design the ring dielectric resonator.The ring dielectric resonator test system is also designed and built.For other test methods,this paper firstly conceives several new methods to be tried,and simulates these methods by using HFSS electromagnetic simulation software.Based on the simulation results,the feasibility of these methods is analyzed.Finally,based on the theoretical analysis,simulation results and experimental phenomena of several different methods,a feasible method for high permittivity test is proposed.
