G Gas Company’s Financial Analysis From The Strategic Perspective

With the advancement of China’s comprehensive deepening reform,Chinese enterprises must examine the development prospects of the company from a strategic perspective,and the research focus of strategic management needs to be transferred to the implementation of strategy to find a practical and feasible strategy implementation method for enterprises.At the same time,the development of corporate financial analysis system is facing changes.The traditional financial analysis system solidification model and method have become more and more unsuitable for modern enterprise management,especially strategic management.Therefore,it is necessary to combine strategy and financial analysis by analyzing financial reports from a strategic perspective.The case study of this paper is the G gas company in S province.In the past few years,under the background of the policy named“gasification S province”,G gas company implemented a vertical integration strategy,but due to the combined factors such as gas shortage and gas price adjustment,G gas company ’s profits have been declining these years,even negative.However the traditional financial report analysis cannot fully display the current financial situation and strategy implementation of the company.Therefore,this paper analyzes financial reports of G gas company from a strategic perspective,hoping that the traditional financial report analysis will beimproved to help G gas company improve their management and improve the scientific and rational decision-making.Based on the above research background,this paper clarifies the theoretical research and literature analysis of financial analysis and strategic management,and lays a theoretical foundation for the application of financial report analysis from a strategic perspective.Starting from the development status of G gas company,it is found that the reason why G gas company’s strategy implementation is not in place,and it is due to the limitations of its current financial analysis,which points out the adaptability of financial reporting analysis from a strategic perspective.After analyzing the existing strategic choices of G gas company,This paper analyzes the financial report from the three aspects such as overall strategy,competition strategy and financial strategy to evaluate its strategy execution,and compare it with the traditional financial report analysis.The advantages of this new system make this new system a powerful tool for G gas company ’s strategic management,so that G gas company ’s strategic goals can be truly realized,and help G gas company to emerge from development difficulties and achieve more fast and sustainable development.
