Nowadays,the research of chiral compounds has attracted more and more attention.Particularly,the chiral complexes and metal-organic frameworks with versatile topology,rich pores,special coordination environment are widely used in chiral separation,asymmetric catalysis,gas adsorption and separation,chemical sensing,biomedical research and other applied fields.However,it is very important to find some raw materials for the preparation of chiral organic ligands,which are easy to obtain,and it is very important to synthesize chiral ligands.However,building chiral organic ligands usually require complicated experimental steps,so looking for chiral ligands which easily synthesized by accessible raw materials is very important.Herein,by using optical active low cost of cysteine as chiral source to form two types of pure chiral organic ligands through the simple condensation reaction with cyano compounds.We have got 5 complexes using these two kinds of ligands coordinated with metal ions.The crystal structures were determined by single X-ray diffraction and their properties and applicaitons were also explored.This work includes four parts:the first part introduces the research progress of chiral organic metal complexes.The second part we have synthesis a pair of chiral ligand L1R,L1S,got 3 kinds of complex with L1R and their structures.We mainly focus on the photochromic phenomenon of complex 1.We have characterized the structure and properties of the complex and vertified the mechanism of the photochromic transformation by using solid UV-vis spectroscopic,1H NMR,ESR,CD,MS and TGA techniques.From the results:it is the formation of Py+ˇfree radical that cause the photochromism.The third part we have synthesized an other chiral ligand L2RR,L2SS,and got a pair of novel enantiotopic complex 4 R&S?supramolecular microcyclic?.By measuring the structure of these two complexes,we have found that the the direction of the ligands'spiral arrangement in these two complexes is associated with the structure of the ligand.We preliminarily explored the application of complex 4 for light degradation of organic dyes.From the results,complex 4 is a effective catalyst for methylene blue and methyl orange,but weaker effect on rhodamine B.Further research is still in progress.The fourth part we have got a Cu-MOF with L2RR by changing the condition of crystal synthesis.By structural analysis,we have found it has three-dimensional structure with 1 D helical channel.Meanwhile,we have analyzed the structure difference between complexes 4 and 5.We have found that the ligand's coordination mode and the direction are important for the whole structure.Its properties and applications remains to be researched.
