In modern oil extraction machinery,the problem of wear and tear of parts has been widely concerned.Ordinary polymer materials can't meet the requirements of the ude of sucker rod centralizers,and it has become inevitable to study higher performance composite materials.At present,the research on centralizer materials mainly focuses on different additives modified nylon materials and application value of modified nylon materials under water environment.Therefore,research on the properties of nylon-based composites and their tribological properties in water-lubricated environment has important theoretical and practical significance.In this paper,nylon 66/glass fiber/polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)composites and nylon 66/glass fiber(GF)composites were prepared by melt blending to study the water absorption of different content of glass fiber and PTFE on nylon matrix composites?hardness?compression properties and tribological properties in water-lubrication environment;Regression analysis of various properties will be performed for experimental data;A regression modle of performance will be estavlished;Borrowing Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM)on the surface of nylon-based composite materials and mating wear,which is analyzed for the morphological characteristics of tribological properties.The friction mechanism in water-lubricated environment will be analyzed.The friction and wear behavior of the best proportion composites under different working conditions will be explored.The experimental results showed that the addition of glass fiber and PTFE can better improve the performance of the composite.11.7%GF/25%PTFE composite has the lowest water absorption rate of 0.632%,which is 57% lower than pure nylon 66.The composite material with 25%GF ratio is the best,and the compressive strength is 124% higher than that of pure nylon 66.The 10%PTFE/18%GF composites in water environment have the best wear resistance and wear resistance,the friction coefficient is 0.051,which is 77.8% lower than that of pure nylon 66,and the wear rate is 0.49×10-5mm3·(N· m)-1,which is 82% higher than pure nylon 66.The wear mechanism of nylon-based composites is mainly characterized by abrasive wear and adhesive wear,accompanied by fatigue wear;Water plays a good role in lubrication and cooling,and the transfer film and water-lubricated film formed by PTFE during friction process are effective;The ground promotes its anti-friction and wear-resisting effect.Relative to the sliding speed,the load had a greater influence on the tribological properties of the nylon-based composite.The test results showed that the applicable working condition of the nylon-based composite material is medium speed and low load.
