Ordered mesoporous carbon?OMC?was prepared by evaporation induced self-assembly and modified by copper?Cu-OMC?,boron?B-OMC?and KOH?KOH-OMC?.Bisphenol A?BPA?was chosen as the representative organics to be removed in our system.The main contents and results are exhibited below:?1?Activation of peroxymonosulfate by Cu-OMC.At the condition of catalyst dosage 0.1g/L,PMS concentration 0.5 mmol/L,the removal of 20 mg/L BPA could be achieved 71%in 60min.The catalytic activity was much higher than that of previous reported CuO and CuFe2O4 and the copper leaching was lower than them.The influence parameters such as PMS concentration,catalyst dosage,initial pH and anions on the degradation of BPA was studied.The reactive oxygen species?ROS?generated during the reaction process were analyzed by radical quenching tests and electron spin response?ESR?.It was found that apart from sulfate radical(SO4·-)and hydroxyl radicals?·OH?,singlet oxygen?1O2?also contributed to the degradation of BPA,achieving the efficient removal of BPA.?2?Activation of peroxymonosulfate by B-OMC.With the catalyst dosage of 0.2 g/L,PMS concentration 1 mmol/L,the removal of 20 mg/L BPA could be achieved 91%?The catalytic performance of B-OMC for PMS activation was better than that of OMC.The introduction of B element promoted the BET surface area,pore size and conductivity,resulting in the enhancement of adsorption capacity and catalytic activity for PMS activation.B-OMC-PMS exhibited good performance for BPA removal at the initial pH range from 3.0 to 11.0.It was verified that 1O2 and superoxide radical?O2-·?was the dominated oxidative species in B-OMC-PMS system,not only achieving the efficient removal of BPA,but also avoiding mental leaching.?3?Activation of peroxymonosulfate by KOH-OMC.It presented high catalytic activity with surface area promoting from 645 m2/g to 1284 m2/g.With the catalyst dosage of 0.1 g/L,PMS concentration 1 mmol/L,the removal of 20 mg/L bisphenol A,phenol,2,4-dicholrophen and sulfamethoxazole was 91%,83%,100%and 96%respectively.Regeneration of the inactive catalyst with KOH solution achieved perfect reactivation.The ROS generated during the reaction process were analyzed by radical quenching tests and ESR.It was verified that 1O2 and O2-·contributed to the degradation,achieving the efficient removal of BPA with not only avoiding mental leaching but also realizing the recycle of catalyst the same time.
