This paper studies residual oil of the braided river reservoir of the L102 block from reservoir,single sand body and pore scales by reservoir physical simulation experiment,phased reservoir numerical simulation and microscopic displacement experiment.The conclusions of this study as follows:On the scale of the reservoir,the remaining oil distribution is affected by a variety of factors such as interlaye,well distribution and deposition rhythm.The well distribution plays a leading role in the residual oil distribution in the overall reservoir.The interlayer affects the residual oil distribution by changing the direction of flooding.The control effect of sedimentary rhythm on residual oil is not obvious.The dominant percolation channel formed during the development of the reservoir greatly affects the effect of water injection development.On the sand body scale,the residual oil distribution is mainly controlled by sand body microstructure,interlayer,physical shielding and well distribution.The residual oil is clustered obviously in the micro structural high point area without well control.A certain scale and continuous interlayer under shelter area is also the main area of residual oil enrichment.The residual oil is generally not formed in the area of physical shielding.On the scale of pores,combined with CT scanning technology and core displacement experiment method,quantitative analysis of microscopic residual oil is made in sandstone core of braided river reservoir.The 3D visualization and quantitative characterization of micro residual oil have been realized for the first time in the unconsolidated sandstone reservoirs in Jidong Oilfield,and the micro residual oil in the braided river reservoir in this area is divided into three major and eight types of remaining states.The micro residual oil of half bound state dominates,which is the key type of the remaining oil potential.
