In the process of industrial application of renewable wet gas desulfurization technology, the organic amine wastewater is difficult to be biodegraded, and this kind of wastewater will have a strong negative impact on the activated sludge system of sewage treatment plant. At present, the wastewater can only be treated by dilution with water, which treatment cost is high and not fundamentally reduce pollution.Therefor,it is necessary to develop a proper treatment method in order to reduce the treatment cost and cut down the pollution on water body.In this paper, the conditions for the adsorption removal of organic amines in the wastewater by adsorbent were investigated, and the appropriate technical conditions were determined. At the same time, the selected adsorbents were characterized.Based on its adsorption performance, the characteristics of adsorbent were analyzed, and the adsorption kinetics was determined.Mainly, the adsorption performance of activated carbon and activated carbon fiber and graphene were investigated and compared. The achieved conclusions are as follows:By the static and dynamic adsorption experiments and steam, hot water stripping regeneration method, the absorption and desorption performances of various kinds of adsorbent were investigated by the multi-times adsorption and desorption experiments. When the activated carbon was used to adsorption organics in wastewater, the removal rate of organic matter was about 90%,and the desorption rate of organic matter was70% during the regeneration process under the proper conditions,.When the activated carbon fiber was used to adsorbent, the removal rate of organics in wastewater was 90%and its desorption rate of was 80% during the regeneration process. For graphene adsorbent, the removal rate of organic matter in wastewater was up to 96%,and its desorption rate of was 97% during the regeneration process under the suitable conditions.Based on the above mentioned results,it is known that the graphene adsorbent would be new type of the potential adsorbent for the removal of organic amines in wastewater.
