According to the relevant technical requirements of the industrial production of tungsten isotope gas,the analysis technology of six tungsten fluoride gas was studied in view of how to carry out the quantitative analysis of the purity of the product in the vacuum system.First,the sampling analysis method and principle of gaseous samples were compared and analyzed.The on-line quantitative analysis method of six tungsten fluoride and gaseous impurity in low pressure and the process flow of the precision requirement of the product purity analysis were determined.Secondly,combined with the heat transfer characteristics of low pressure and low temperature gas,the deep cold separation process parameters of six tungsten fluoride and gaseous impurity were designed.The related parameters of heat transfer area,sample flow,temperature and cooling amount were calculated.Thirdly,combining the strong corrosion characteristics of six tungsten fluoride and the requirement of process cooling,the structure design of each component in the sampling analysis device and the selection of the related accessories were carried out.A device for on-line analysis of the purity of six tungsten fluoride in vacuum conditions(about 10kPa)was developed and its use method was developed.Finally,the performance test and error analysis of the sampling and analyzing device were completed,which satisfied the design requirement of error less than 5.0%.The results showed that the saturated vapor pressure of six tungsten fluoride and its gaseous impurities in vacuum system was quite different at different temperatures.The method of which the six tungsten fluoride gas and gaseous impurity were separated by deep refrigeration and then six tungsten fluoride gas and gaseous impurity were released into the container of known volume respectively by heating-evaporating then the gas mass was measured by the volume method could meet the requirement of on-line analysis of dynamic purity of tungsten fluoride six.The system and method have been successfully applied to the purity analysis of six tungsten fluoride isotope production plant,which has the advantages of high analysis precision,no loss of samples and corrosion resistance of the device.
