Chirality is one of the basic properties of nature. Two configurations of chiral compounds usually exhibit different effects in pharmacological and toxicological. The separation of chiral compounds is an increasingly significant for the modern pharmaceutical and chemical industries.Chromatographic column is the core of high performance liqiud chromatography(HPLC),in which the packing plays a vital role in enantioseparation. The thesis mainly includes following aspects:(1)Cellulose tris(3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate)was synthesized as a chiral recognition material to prepare six chiral chromatographic columns.Sixteen chiral samples were used to evaluate the separation performance of these columns. The experimental results indicated that all of the six chiral stationary phases showed an excellent chiral recognition ability and mutual complementarity for separation of racemates. The effect of chromatographic conditions for chiral resolution ability also was investigated.(2)Cellulose-2,3-bis(3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate)was synthesized as chiral recognition agent, which was coated on the surface of differrent silica gels.Six chiral chromatographic columns were prepared for separation of racemates. However, the resolution ability of these columns is weaker than cellulose derivative columns.(3)Coating non-derivative cellulose on the macro-porous aminopropyl silica gel, some enantiomers were resolved on the chiral column.Compared to cellulose derivative packed columns, this column possessed lower ability for enantioseparations.
