Now people put forward higher and higher requirements on the indoor air quality of residential buildings.Passing the indoor temperature,humidity and air quality with new building materials at a relatively stable and comfortable level is an important way to save energy in buildings.In this paper,the hygroscopicity performance,formaldehyde decontamination performance and sound absorption performance of diatom ooze coatings were studied,and the latex paints widely used in interior decoration were selected for comparative analysis,evaluating this coating objectively and comprehensively.First of all,in this paper,the humidity control characteristics of diatomite and three kinds of diatom ooze were studied.By measuring the maximum equilibrium moisture content,the isothermal equilibrium hygroscopic curve and moisture absorption rate curve were obtained.At the same time,the effect of relative humidity and temperature on MBV of diatom ooze was investigated experimentally,and its effect on indoor relative humidity and building energy consumption was calculated.The results showed that the equilibrium moisture content of diatomite and diatom ooze in wet environment all increased with the increase of relative humidity.Both temperature and relative humidity had a great influence on the wet buffer value of diatom ooze.And for the size of 4m × 5m × 2.5m room,diatom ooze in one working day maximum moisture content in about 626 g.As a result,building energy consumption is reduced by 0.19 kw·h.Secondly,according to the simulation environment,the formaldehyde purification performance of diatom ooze was studied,and the effect of ambient temperature,relative humidity,light intensity and initial formaldehyde concentration on the purification of formaldehyde in diatom ooze was investigated.The results show that the maximum formaldehyde purification rate of diatom ooze in 24 h was 64.5%.The effects of temperature,relative humidity,light intensity and initial concentration of formaldehyde on formaldehyde purification of diatom ooze had a significant effect.Finally,using the standing wave method to measure the sound absorption performance of diatom ooze paint,and based on this,using the Ecotect software to establish the room model to simulate the indoor reverberation time,analyzing the effect of diatom ooze on the living room reverberation time,explore the floor material,with or without curtains and other factors on the diatom ooze living room reverberation time.The results show that the sound absorption coefficient of diatom ooze is about double the sound absorption coefficient of latex paint,and the diatom ooze can effectively improve the reverberation time in the living room.In the interior wall with diatom ooze paint,on the living room and living room through the reverberation time the most favorable ground material were wood flooring and "carpet + wood floor." For a separate living room,the presence of the blinds increased the proportion of the best reverberation time,while the curtains had less effect on the reverberation time through the living room.
