Study On The Characteristics Of Core Permeability And Relative Permeability Curve

The relative permeability is one of the information that reservoir researchers can obtain directly in laboratory,the core permeability has some influence on relative permeability curve,study on the Characteristics of Core Permeability and Relative Permeability Curve,which has certain qualitative guiding significance for the verification of the permeability curve obtained in laboratory.Firstly,the control methods of core permeability and core wettability are studied in this paper,then the artificial core with the same permeability has different wettability and the same wettability has different permeability is developed.Secondly,the data processing software of oil-water relative permeability which has the function of variety of fitting model is developed by the needs of the experiment.Finally,the physical simulation experiments of core permeability and relative permeability curve are carried out using the artificial cores developed,and then the experimental results was analyzed.The core of this experiment can be divided into water phase concave type,water phase convex type and water phase linear type by processing and analysis of the data of the relative permeability experiment;The equal-permeability point of oil-wet core is shifted to the right side than the water-wet core;when the smaller the permeability,the higher the irreducible water saturation and residual oil saturation,and the narrower the two-phase flowing,and the faster the descending speed of oil relative permeability,and the faster the rising speed of water relative permeability,and the equal-permeability point is shifted to the right.Processing and analysis of the data of each characteristics point data,finding that there is an inflection point in the relation curve between each characteristics point and the core permeability curve with the increase of core permeability,and the curve drops or rises faster before the inflection point,the curve flattens out after the inflection point.
