Fire is a serious threat to human life and property safety.The application of binocular vision technology in the field of fire detection is a hot topic in recent years.This paper analyzes the existing binocular vision fire detection system and finds that there are problems such as the incompleteness of binocular camera calibration equipment,the inaccurate location of fire source and so on.Aiming at the problems,the fire detection system is designed and studied.The system described in this thesis can accurately determine the location of fire source,which is of great significance for the detection and early warning of outdoor fire hazards.The work completed in this paper is as follows:(1)This thesis analyzes the characteristics of outdoor fire flames and infrared images,designs the working principle of infrared and visible light binocular vision fire detection systems for outdoor use,and based on this,devises an overall plan of fire detection system.The system's software and hardware platforms are devised and a system experiment platform is built.(2)In this thesis,Zhang Zhengyou's calibration algorithm is improved and a tool that can simultaneously calibrate infrared light and visible light images is worked out.Based on OpenCV,this thesis also designs the workflow of image calibration in fire detection system.(3)The fusion level and method of binocular visual images are selected,and the workflow of image fusion in fire detection system is designed based on OpenCV.(4)Based on the above design,a systematic experiment platform is set up,and experimental schemes for calibration experiments and fusion experiments are designed.This paper also analyses the experimental process and results,studies the effect of distance parameters on fusion error,and finally,proposes an adaptive image fusion method.
