At present, the High Wax Waxing wells in the Middle East are facing the problem of wax deposition seriously and hindering production. However, the efficiency of traditional wax removal methods is low, which hindering the production schedule. In this paper, based on the waxing situation of Yada oilfield in Iran, this paper explores a new type of wellbore paraffin method, and designs the automatic wax removal tool of the wellbore and conducts research on it.First of all, using Creo to design the tool's scraper,bottom-hole reversing device and wellhead device. The contact of key parts is checked and analyzed by finite element method.By using ANSYS,the dynamic analysis module is used to simulate the collision of the paraffin scraper and the top rod,and summarized the collision rule of the stress and strain of the reversing lever. Then the design and selection of the carding spring was carried out.Mechanical analysis and numerical simulation are used to optimize the blade Angle, and finally choosed the right wax scraping angle. The influence of high temperature on blade deformation was studied by using ANSYS thermal-structure coupling analysis module. Finally, the mechanical model of the scraper is established to verify the feasibility of its automatic up and down.FLUENT was used to analyze the flow field inside the scraper, and observed the internal velocity and pressure distribution.Through the design of the tool and the subsequent simulation study, this paper provides theoretical guidance for the automatic wax removal of the wellbore, which can be used for reference in the follow-up study.
