| Conventional drug delivery approaches are plagued by issues pertaining to systemic toxicity and repeated dosing.Hydrogels offer convenient drug delivery vehicles to ensure these disadvantages are minimized and the therapeutic benefits from the drug are optimized.With exquisitely tunable physical properties that confer them great controlled drug release features and the merits they offer for labile drug protection from degradation,hydrogels emerge as very efficient drug delivery systems.This paper has selected Polyethylene glycol diamide and α-CD;1’,3’,3’-trimethylspiro[chromene-2,2’-indoline]-5’-carboxylic aoid(CSP)and octadecylamine as two-component gelator.Exploring their gelation behavior under various solvents.The Self-assembly behaviors and morphologies and mechanical strength of the gel were studied by IR、Rheometer,SEM etc.The properties of controlled drug releasing were explored by UV.The main content of this paper:<1> Polyethylene glycol diamide was synthesized and dissolved in water then mixed with aqueous solution of α-cyclodextrin evenly to get a white gel.The gel has a big minimum gel concentration.Through a series of characterized methods,we found that the gel has good mechanical properties;the main driving force for the self-assembly of the gel is the intermolecular hydrogen bond;Increasing the gelation concentration of the gel can make the gel more stable;the microscopic morphology of the gel is lamellar.<2> We chose 2-hydroxyquinoline,salicylic acid and vitamin B12 as template drugs to study the drug release properties from hydrogel prepared from cyclodextrin and polyethylene glycol diamide.The drug release behavior was tested under different conditions.The Results indicate drug release rate was related to drug concentration,gelator concentration and pH of PBS solution.<3> A spiropyran(CSP)was synthesized and dissolved in ethanol mixed with octadecylamine to get a clear and transparent solution.And then add a certain amount of water to the solution to get a white gel.The formed gel is responsive to ultraviolet light.The gel can be prepared in the mixed solvent of methanol: water(V:V=1:1),Isopropanol: water(V: V = 1:1),DMSO: water(V: V = 1:1),DMF: water(V: V = 1:1)besides the mixed solvent of Ethanol-water.The microscopic morphology of the gel is fibrous;intermolecular forces are the main driving force for gel formation in this system,and gels have good mechanical properties.Salicylic acid was used to study the drug release properties of the gel.The Results indicate drug release rate was related to drug concentration,gelator concentration and pH of PBS solution. |
