Songhua River Basin in Jilin Province is a heavy industry base and commodity grain base in China.Therefore,it is crucial tocontrolwater pollution of Songhua River Basinin China.The water pollution issues are very serious and the risks of water environment arehighin this basin.Moreover,the water pollution seriously restricts the development of Jilin Province.It is urgent to improve the water quality of Songhua River Basin in Jilin Province.According to the basic situation of Songhua River Basin in Jilin Province,weadopt single factor evaluation method to analyze the current situation of water environment of the main stream,tributaries,main lakes and reservoirs in Songhua River Basin in Jilin Province.We applied the seasonal Kendall test method to analyze the water quality trend,and analyze the current situation and emission characteristics of pollutants in the Basin.Based on the results,we evaluated the current situation of water pollution control in Songhua River Basin.The main results are as following:(1)There are 36 national and provincial examination sections in Jilin Province.Among the 36 sections,there are 3II-classsections,17III-classsections,3 IV-class sections,5 V-class sectionsand 8 worse than V-class sections.In 2020,there are 22 sections meeting the targetand 13 sections are not meeting the target according to current water quality situation.According to the results of water quality assessment and the trend of water quality,most of the main streams could meet the national requirementsin Songhua River Basin in Jilin Province.However,39% tributaries sections meet national water quality requirements.Meanwhile,there are 13 V-class orworse than V-classsections.It is difficult for these sections to meet national water quality requirements by 2020.So these sections should be the top priorities for the prevention and control of water pollution in the Songhua River basin in Jilin Province.(2)Some of the tributaries' water environmentalissues aresevere,and some of sections' water qualitycontinues to deteriorate,such as YitongRiver,YinmaRiver,HuifaRiver.3 sections of tributaries in the basin are V-class and 19 sections of tributariesare worse than V-class in 2016.The quality of the water environment in these rivers should be focused.(3)The water quality target of the lake and reservoirs belonging to the Songhua River Basin for 2020 all implement ?-class water quality standard.Songhua Lake and Chagan Lake are out of limits in 2016-2017.Sections of Huashulin and Xiaohuangdi of Songhua Lake are exceeding sections,and the water quality and the exceeding pollutant of which are Grade ? and total phosphorus.The water supply source of Chagan Lake is mainly farmland backwater,which directly affects the aquatic ecosystem of Chagan Lake.Pollution from domestic and non-point sources also lead to the deterioration of water quality.(4)Seasonal Kendall Test is used to analyze the trend of four factors of 11 Songhua River Basin sections in 2011-2015.The results show that the factors do not change significantly.However,some factors show a decreasing trend,and a few show an ascending trend.The results indicate that the water quality of the 11 sections are stable and show a trend of improvement.To be specific,water quality of all sections except for Dunhuaxia(Shuaiwanzi)have been improved by varying degrees.(5)The key points for the water pollution control of Songhua River Basin are promoting the adjustment of industrial structure and industrial transformation and upgrading in key regions,improving urban sewage networks and domestic sewage treatment facilities in townships and villages,and increasing the utilization of livestock and poultry waste resources to eliminate the effect of the tributaries water quality.On this basis,suggestions are put forward to control the water pollution in Songhua River Basin of Jilin Province.
