As a precursor of graphene,graphene oxide(GO)exhibits great scientific significance and application value in rubber composites due to its unique structure and high strength.Numerous experiments and theories have shown that in order for graphene to maximize its functionality in the matrix,it must maintain a monolithic layer,a large-sized structure,and a strong interfacial bond with the matrix.Therefore,how to efficiently and non-polluting the addition and maintenance of thin layers and large-sized graphene in the matrix is very important for the current industrial application of graphene.In this paper,the hybrid filler GO@SiO2 was prepared by spray drying and applied to the green tire tread rubber.The following aspects were explored:(1)The combination of spray drying technology and the preparation of nano-hybrid filler GO@SiO2 made it possible to industrialize GO.By comparing the properties of tread rubber composites prepared by conventionally dried graphene oxide(O-GO),spray-dried graphene oxide(S-GO)and hybrid filler GO@SiO2,the results showed that spray drying technology can effectively retain the large size,thin layer and multi fold structure of GO in the matrix,which is the key to improve the mechanical properties,wear resistance and heat resistance of tread rubber greatly.(2)The silica(SiO2)was pretreated by y-aminopropyltriethoxysilane(KH550),y-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane(KH560),urea propyl trimethoxy silane(UPTS),y-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane(KH570),?-isocyanate propyl triethoxysilane(IPTS).And then mixed it with GO aqueous solution,a hybrid packing GO@SiO2 with two functional groups of silane coupling agents was prepared by spray drying.Applying it to the green tire tread rubber,the results showed that the addition of GO can effectively improve the mechanical properties of the matrix.Meanwhile,when the silane coupling agent was KH550 and the GO filling fraction was 3 phr,its mechanical properties and wear resistance were the best and rolling resistance was lower;KH550 serves as an intermediate bridge to connect GO and SiO2 organically,forming a highly interpenetrating isolation network.(3)The effect of KH550 on the comprehensive properties of tread rubber was studied.With the increase of KH550 dosage,the grafting rate increased gradually,and the basic mechanical properties,wear resistance and fatigue resistance were prominent.The results of transmission electron microscopy showed that the addition of KH550 could significantly improve the dispersibility of the filler,but a small amount of KH550 could not form a perfect cross-linking network.When the dosage was 10%,the filler was well dispersed in the matrix and formed dense.Cross-linked network;surface wear marks are smoother and lighter in the Acron test,while the tread rubber has a very low loss factor and excellent fatigue resistance.
