| Three types of antimicrobial agents were selected as modifiers to prepare antimicrobial PVC materials by direct mixing method.The mechanical properties,transparency,blood compatibility,antimicrobial properties and antimicrobial aging properties of the blends were tested and analyzed.The results are as follows:(1)Nano-silver antimicrobial agents LD-30 and RHA-T2 showed good and lasting antimicrobial effects on both Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus.When the dosage of antimicrobial agents was above 0.2 phr,the antimicrobial rate of the two blends against S.aureus reached 99.9%,and when the dosage of antimicrobial agents was above 0.8 phr,the antimicrobial rate of the two blends against E.coli reached 99.4%.(2)Two nano-silver antimicrobial agents can be uniformly dispersed in PVC matrix material without agglomeration.The addition of two antimicrobial agents has little effect on the transmittance and haze of PVC material,but it will make the tensile strength and elongation at break of PVC material decrease slightly and the impact strength increase.(3)Organosilicon quaternary ammonium salts antimicrobial agents AEM-5700,BJ-88 and triclosan have good antimicrobial properties against S.aureus.BJ-88 and TCS also show good antimicrobial properties against E.coli.When the dosage of PVC/TCS blends is more than 0.2 phr,the antimicrobial rates against E.coli and S.aureus are 98.2%and 100%.When the dosage of BJ-88 was 0.8 phr and 0.4 phr,the bacteriostasis rates of E.coli and S.aureus were 98.7%and 99.9%respectively.When the dosage of AEM-5700 was above 0.8 phr,the bacteriostasis rate of PVC/AEM-5700 against S.aureus reached 98.9%,and the bacteriostasis effect against E.coli was poor.(4)AEM-5700,BJ-88 and TCS can be uniformly dispersed and not agglomerated in PVC matrix,which has little effect on the mechanical properties and transparency of the materials,and the blends have no hemolytic toxicity.(5)Organic macromolecule antimicrobial agent QCTS showed good antimicrobial activity against S.aureus.When the dosage of QCTS reached 1.0 phr,the antimicrobial activity of the material against S.aureus reached more than 99%.PVC/QCTS blend system has long-term antimicrobial activity,and is not easy to dissolve.It has no hemolytic toxicity.It shows good antimicrobial activity in vitro and in vivo in simulated antimicrobial activity. |
