The large-scale carbonate reservoir in the Middle East is a reef beach sedimentary complex.The distribution of reservoir physical properties is very complex in plane and vertical.The heterogeneity is mainly manifested in the reservoir space,lithology,physical properties and the scale of reservoir.The heterogeneity carbonate reservoir contains more than 50% of the conventional oil and gas remaining reserves in the world,generally with relatively low recovery.The developed reservoirs in the Middle East are mainly porous carbonate reservoirs,which are generally edge and bottom water reservoirs with weak natural energy.The existence of interlayer enhances the heterogeneity of reservoir and complicates the relationship between oil and water movement,which is one of the main factors affecting the development effect of reservoir.The existence of physical interlayer reduces the flow connectivity between injection wells and production wells,which has a great impact on the development effect.Based on the research and application of the existing carbonate reservoir physical interlayer,this paper uses the physical simulation experiment method to study the effect of the physical interlayer and its physical properties on the production effect in the bottom horizontal well water injection and the top horizontal well oil production mode of the multi-layer vertical heterogeneous reservoir.Combined with the numerical simulation method,the evaluation and development optimization of the carbonate reservoir physical interlayer are carried out ? In this paper,the physical model of different physical property interlayer and corresponding displacement pressure difference on water drive law are studied,and multiple sets of numerical models are established.Through t-navigator numerical model software,the corresponding numerical model is studied.The oil production and water cut rise law under different pressure difference are compared,and the effect of physical property interlayer and its physical property on production effect is studied.The experimental results show that when the permeability is 1md,the best displacement pressure difference is 9MPa,the recovery time is longer,the recovery time is more stable in anhydrous period,and the area where the injected water breaks through the physical interlayer is the largest.The density of physical properties of interlayer will affect the mining effect of the model.When the physical properties of the physical interlayer are worse,the water breakthrough time of the produced fluid is shorter and the stable production is more difficult.At the same time,the smaller the area where water injection breaks through the physical interlayer,the lower the sweep efficiency above the physical interlayer,and the higher the proportion of the remaining oil area that is not swept.It is the main potential object of EOR of physical interlayer reservoir to effectively improve the ability and area of water injection to break through the physical interlayer and improve the sweep effect above the physical interlayer.
