Bionic design runs through the whole design history of human beings and is an irreplaceable design form in life.Plants,as one of the objects of bionic design,have a variety of shapes and varieties,and have been the inspiration treasure house of design since ancient times.This paper takes bionic design as the main thread and plant bionic design as the starting point,analyzes the application of bionic design,studies the design method of bionic design for plants,and analyzes the design performance of plants in bionic design by collecting a large number of relevant data and pictures;this creation practice takes familiar plants as the material,and creates on the basis of formal beauty principle "Tree length" seasoning pot set group and "fruit accumulation" coffee set group.The combination of natural modeling and practical functions enables consumers to feel the natural beauty generated by the combination of ceramics and plants while using it,adding a different kind of interest to life.
