In recent years,with the rapid development of composite preparation,the wetting behavior and interface characteristics between solid and liquid become the focus of research.The wetting behavior and interface characteristics between dissimilar materials are very important in the preparation and processing of materials,which have a significant impact on the interface bonding force and performance of composite materials.Therefore,it is of great scientific significance and engineering guidance value to study the wetting behavior and interface characteristics between solid and liquid for the synthesis of composite materials.In view of this,this study takes Ti based amorphous alloy as the research object to clarify the high temperature wetting behavior and interface characteristics between Ti based amorphous alloy and Al2O3.In this paper,we first investigate the effects of temperature,droplet quality and holding time on the wettability and interfacial interaction between Ti32.8Zr30.2Cu9Ni5.3Be22.7?ZT3?amorphous alloy and Al2O3,which provide theoretical guidance for the final preparation of the Ti based amorphous alloy and Al2O3 composite materials.The cross section of the composite material is analyzed by morphology,and the quasi-static compression experiment at room temperature is carried out.The specific work is as follows:The wetting behavior of ZT3 amorphous alloy and Al2O3 was studied.In the temperature range of 800-950?,the contact angle between ZT3 amorphous alloy and Al2O3is lower than 90°,indicating that the wettability between them is good.In the temperature rise range of 800-900?,the contact angle of the system is decreased,but increased in the temperature range of 900-950?.This is because when the temperature is below 900?,the interfacial tension between solid and liquid gradually decreases with increasing temperature,and the interfacial layer between ZT3 amorphous alloy and Al2O3 is mainly?-Ti solid solution,which is beneficial to wettability between solid and liquid.When the temperature is above 900?,the interfacial tension between solid and liquid begins to increase with increasing temperature,while the BeO formed above the Al2O3 hinders the spreading of the droplets.Interface characteristics between ZT3 amorphous alloy and Al2O3.Temperature and holding time can affect the internal structure of the droplet.At the same time,the growth rule of interfacial layer under different conditions was characterized.The results show that temperature,holding time and droplet quality all have a positive effect on the thickness of the interfacial layer,and temperature has the greatest effect.Based on the study of the wetting behavior and interfacial interaction between ZT3amorphous and Al2O3,the reasonable process parameters were determined.Two kinds of network structure alumina preforms were selected,and the Ti based amorphous alloy composites were successfully prepared by melt infiltration at 800?and 850?for 10minutes.The cross-sectional morphology of the composite material shows that the left and right sides of the interface are evenly distributed,and there are no cracks and holes at the interface.It can be seen that Ti based amorphous alloy and Al2O3 are well bonded.
