The amino-modified silicone oil of polyacrylonitrile(PAN)based carbon fiber precursor oil agent has poor storage stability under the acidic condition.To optimize the performance of the product,hydroxyl amino-modified silicone oil(HA-PDMS)was synthesized by a three-step procedure.A carbon fiber precursor oil agent(HA-OA)which has high stability and heat resistance,low surface tension and controllable particle size were combined via the self-emulsification method.And it can be used for PAN-based carbon fiber production.First,synthesis of hydrogen-polysiloxane(H-PDMS)through ring-opening polymerization of the organosilicon compound.Then,the epoxy group was connected to the two ends of H-PDMS by hydrosilylation method to synthesize epoxy modified polysiloxane(E-PDMS).The structure of the product was confirmed using FT-IR and 1H-NMR.The optimal process conditions for the synthesis of H-PDMS and E-PDMS were studied using single-factor experiments.The optimal process conditions of HPDMS: reaction time 5 h,catalyst dosage 1.8%,reaction temperature 35 °C.The best process conditions of E-PDMS: reaction temperature 90 °C,Si-H:C=C molar ratio 1:1.2,reaction time 5 h,catalyst dosage 40 μg/g.The heat resistance and viscosity of E-PDMS affected by molecular weight were also tested.Then we use E-PDMS as raw material to synthesize hydroxyamino modified polysiloxane(HA-PDMS)through the chemical modification method.The structure of the product was confirmed using FT-IR.HA-PDMS with different molecular weights was prepared into cationic emulsions by self-emulsification.In this paper,the heat resistance and viscosity of HA-PDMS with different molecular weights were tested.The viscosity,particle size,and surface tension of the HA-PDMS cationic emulsion were also tested.The results show that HA-PDMS has a good heat resistance and is not affected by changes in molecular weight;The results show that HA-PDMS has a good heat resistance and is not affected by changes in molecular weight;the viscosity of HAPDMS is proportional to its molecular weight;the particle size of HA-PDMS cationic emulsion is controllable,and its surface tension is also very small.The last part is the preparation of the PAN precursor oil agent by blending different molecular weight of HA-PDMS with amphiphilic epoxy modified silicone oil(HAOA).Changes in HA-OA properties affected by molecular weight were tested.Select HA-OA with HA-PDMS molecular weight of 1500 and compare it with the aminomodified oil agent already in the literature and Japanese bamboo oil agent;three different PAN raw silk oils were applied to carbon fiber production to test fiber performance.The results show that HA-OA has higher heat resistance,smaller surface tension,and controllable particle size;the performance of PAN fiber and carbon fiber produced by HA-OA is higher.
