Silicone-free shampoo has become the mainstream of the market,but its smooth conditioning performance is not as good as silicone oil products.The high molecular weight polyoxypropylene ether has hydrophobicity and conditioning properties,which is similar to silicone oil,so it has the potential to be used in hair care products.In this article,polyoxypropylene ether with molecular weight of 9000?12000 was synthesized and used in shampoo,but the application evaluation showed that its effect was slightly worse than silicone oil shampoo.On this basis,polyoxypropylene modified silicone oil with the characteristics of both polyoxypropylene ether and silicone oil was obtained by using the allyl polyoxypropylene ether with molecular weight of 6000 and hydrosilicone oil,.It has been used in shampoo and has excellent effects.Firstly,higher molecular weight polyoxypropylene ether(H-PPG)was synthesized and the synthesis process was optimized.The optimized process conditions were as follows:catalyst dosage was 50 ppm and reaction temperature was 110?120?.H-PPG-9000 and H-PPG-12000 were obtained.H-PPG-9000 has a molecular weight of 9437 and a molecular weight polydispersity coefficient of 1.069;H-PPG-12000 has a molecular weight of 11724 and a molecular weight polydispersity coefficient of 1.149.Infrared spectrum analysis results conformed to the structure of polyoxypropylene ether.Secondly,higher molecular weight allyl polyoxypropylene ether(APPG)was synthesized for the next addition reaction with hydrosilicone oil.In this article,two synthetic routes were compared.The first was the addition of low molecular weight allyl polyoxypropylene ether and propylene oxide.The process conditions were the same as the ring opening addition of polyoxypropylene ether and propylene oxide.APPG-6000 with molecular weight of 6065 and viscosity of 7300 mPa·s and APPG-8000 with molecular weight of 8202 and viscosity of 12400 mPa·s were obtained.The second was the substitution of H-PPG-9000 with allyl chloride.Intermediate product was produced from H-PPG-9000 and sodium methoxide at 90? for 60 min,then the intermediate product was substituted with allyl chloride.The reaction temperature was 110?,the reaction time was 60 min and the feeding ratio of polyoxypropylene ether:sodium methoxide:allyl chloride was 1:1.1:1.2.APPG-9000 with viscosity of 5200 mPa·s was obtained after post-treatment.Compared with the two routes,the latter can get product with low viscosity,but the color of its product was worse,and the reaction process was cumbersome and required post-treatment.The former operated simpler and its product had a better appearance.So,the former route was selected.Then,higher molecular weight polyoxypropylene modified silicone oil was synthesized.The optimized process conditions were as follows:silicone oil was added into polyether,catalyst dosage was 50 ppm,water content of raw materials was less than 0.1%,the feeding ratio of silicon hydrogen bond of hydrosilicone oil and double bond of polyether was 1:1.15,reaction temperature was 110? and reaction time was 60 min.The modified silicone oil with viscosity of 8340 mPa-s was obtained,and the conversion rate was 90.40%.Infrared and hydrogen spectrum analysis results conformed to the structure of product.Finally,the application evaluation of higher molecular weight polyoxypropylene ether and its modified silicone oil in shampoo was studied.The combability and use evaluation of PPG shampoos were inferior to polyoxypropylene-modified silicone oil shampoos and silicone oil shampoo.The performance of higher molecular weight polyoxypropylene-modified silicone oil shampoos was better than that of silicone oil.Application evaluation showed that higher molecular weight polyoxypropylene-modified silicone oil shampoos can reduce greasiness,improve carding property.
