President Xi Jin-ping calls for a rational,coordinated and balanced nuclear safety strategy from the eighteenth national people's congress;however,economic,safe and clean are the hallmark of nuclear energy,compared with others.The process of uranium mine metallurgy and mining of nuclear fuel cycle is of significance;therefore,the paper conducts experimental study concerning the issue of decommissioning treatment of uranium tailings pond beach face.Uranium tailings pond is a larger potential hazard of nuclear fuel cycles from the perspectives of safety of uranium tailings pond Regarding the chemical ingredients concentration of uranium tailings pond beach face,the concentration of Radon-222 from the uranium decay is higher than other soils,incurring indirectly to the human illnesses,which decommissioning and treatment of uranium tailings pond beach face is of importance.There are numerous theoretical studies shown that the exhalation of radon is influenced by factors such as temperature,humidity,pressure,water content and porosity.However,the study on low-frequency vibration of dry-wet mixed uranium tailings pond beach face of radon exhalation is rarely reported.In order to study the impact on radon exhalation of dry-wet mixed uranium tailings pond beach face with low-frequency,the self-assembly apparatus for testing radon concentrations was made to obtain the regularities of radon exhalation rate.Ultimately,the results might provide theoretical references to some extent.The research contents and results were as followed.(1)The uranium tailings pond beach face samples were conducted.Three different dry-wet uranium tailings pond beach faces were done according to the southern climate,that is,dried,normal and saturated status of uranium tailings pond beach face.The physical,mechanic and radioactive parameters of uranium tailings were measured respectively,which is also the solid foundation of studying radon exhalation rate of diversified dry-wet degree uranium tailings pond beach face and simulating uranium tailings pond beach face situation.(2)Radon exhalation experimental apparatus of two-sided horizontal vibration was designed and completed.Concerning to the effect on low-frequency vibration of different dry-wet mixed uranium tailings pond beach face comprehensively from quakes and man-made vibration,450×450mm(length×width)double horizontal vibration radon exhalation apparatus and the ?100×400mm cylinder for samples were made,which can give the platform support in the experimental study of dry-wet mixed tailings pond beach face on low-frequency vibration.(3)The radon exhalation experimental study of uranium tailings pondbeach face under low-frequency vibration was conducted.In order to study radon exhalation impact on dry-wet mixed uranium tailings pond beach face,the radon exhalation rate of uranium tailings pond beach face was researched by loading vibration and utilizing Matrix Laboratory(MATLAB)and Origin8.5 software for analaysis.The ratio of radon exhalation rate on dried and normal uranium tailings pond beach face increased with the increase of frequency.However,the ratio of radon exhalation rate of saturated uranium tailings pond beach face declined with the increase of frequency.
