Liquid Loading often occur in gas well in middle and late period,which seriously affects production.Accurately calculate the critical gas rate is an important means to predict Liquid Loading.At present,the liquid film model is more practical.Most of the liquid film models commonly established for vertical Wells,there are few studies on horizontal Wells.In this paper,We combining experimental simulation and theoretical research to study the law of liquid loading in horizontal gas Wells.Mainly to carry out the following works:(1)A visualized gas-water two phase flow experiment simulator is developed.The high speed camera observation method was used to judge the liquid film inversion.Based on the flow chart and experimental conditions,the experimental gas-liquid velocity,inclination Angle and pipe diameter range were determined.(2)Based on the sensitivity test,the effects of pipe diameter,liquid velocity and inclination angle on pressure drop,liquid holdup and critical gas velocity were analyzed and summarized.(3)By analyzing the experimental data,the liquid phase correlation formula was fitted,the new model of the critical gas velocity for horizontal Wells is established by combining the angle correction term.The prediction accuracy of the new model was verified by using the experimental data and the actual gas well data in literature.(4)The pressure calculation models for vertical and slant sections were evaluated based on the experimental test data.In vertical pipe,The optimized Hagedorn Brown Beggs Brill models and the newly established critical gas velocity model,compiled a calculation program.(5)The production data and well structure data of X well were collected,the critical gas velocity of the well was calculated and the sensitivity analysis of the influence of oil pressure,liquid production and pipe diameter on the critical gas velocity was carried out.The model established in this paper is simple,accurate and can provide support for field application.
