TiO is a nonstoichiometric interstitial compound containing a large amount of Ti atom and O atom vacancies,whose atomic vacancies can be the metal loading sites of supported catalysts.Therefore,the atomic vacancy of TiO makes it suitable to be the carrier for heterogeneous catalysts.In this paper,we discuss diverse methods to prepare Pd/TiO catalysts and apply the catalysts to the alkaneization and isomerization of olefins,the hydrogenation of nitrile rubber and the research of hydrogenation on fixed bed of nitrile rubber.The main contents include:(1)Choose TiO granule as raw material and prepare TiO powder by the method of wet ball-milling.The particle size of the as-milled TiO reduce significantly and the specific surface area is enlarged about 10 times comparing raw TiO via the characterization of SEM and BET analysis.And combined with the characterization of XRD,XPS and Raman spectroscopy,it is obvious that the as-milled TiO isn't oxidized and keeps stable chemical properties.(2)Prepare three kind of catalysts,which is the Pd0/TiO-NaBH4,the Pd0/TiO-C6H8O6 and the Pd2+/TiO.The characterization of EDS,XRD and XPS are used to research the elemental distribution of the catalyst,the content and presence of nobel metal particles.And combined with the characterization of TEM and HRTEM,the surface morphology of the catalysts and the distribution of noble metal particles is observed.(3)Research the hydrogenation of the cyclic olefins by Pd2+/TiO catalyst and recovery of the catalyst.It was found that the hydrogenation degree(HD)of the cyclic olefins catalyzed by Pd2+/TiO can be 100%,and the catalyst can reuse 8 times to catalyze the hydrogenation of styrene without significant reduction in the recovery activity,but the catalyst which is recovery and reuse to catalyze the hydrogenation of cyclohexene isn't effective enough.(4)Research selective hydrogenation for C=C bonds in NBR by Pd2+/TiO catalyst and investigate the influence factor of the HD including reaction temperature,catalyst content and hydrogen pressure.It is found that the HD of NBR catalyzed by Pd2+/TiO can be 94.0%at the temperature of 30?.(5)Develop a set of fixed-bed hydrogenation process of Pd2+/TiO catalyst for NBR and complete the continuous hydrogenation of NBR at room temperature by optimizing the design of the fixed-bed pipeline and the catalyst loading process,commissioning the feed rate of the glue solution and the loading amount of the catalyst.And moreover,the HD of NBR can be more than 80%in 30 minutes.
