The storage status of hazardous chemicals is related to the safety of people and cities,among which the key factor to ensure safe storage is to maintain and monitor the "five-distance" between stacking in the warehouses.Nowadays,image processing technology based on mechanical vision is widely used in object measurement.It is a very promising solution to study the binocular vision distance measurement method in mechanical vision to realize the "five-distance" measurement between hazardous chemicals stacking,and then to achieve the safety status monitor of stacking,which has great significance for the effective supervision and safety prevention of hazardous chemicals.In this paper,the research to "five-distance" measurement of binocular vision is carried out.The main works are as follows.(1)Based on Zhang's plane-template principles and methods for camera calibration,binocular vision calibration and camera parameters calculation are completed.(2)The cargoes are extracted using the Gaussian mixture model algorithm firstly and then a Shi-Tomasi comer detection algorithm based on line-fitting is proposed to improve the recognition accuracy of effective feature points.(3)Aiming at the similarity of feature points in hazardous chemical stacking,a SIFT bidirectional matching algorithm based on DBSCAN clustering is proposed.The variable thresholds are obtained by different dense degree of clustering to improve matching accuracy.In order to further improve matching speed,the SUFR matching algorithm is studied and the self-adaptive neighborhood calculation is improved based on the position correlation of binocular feature points.Both accuracy and efficiency are more suitable for stacking 3D matching.(4)The design and development of hardware platform and software system for binocular vision dimension measurement of hazardous chemical stacking are completed,and the distance measurement between stackings is realized.
