As one of the important measures of China’s system innovation,the environmental public interest litigation system plays a vital role in China’s environmental protection work.However,while seeing it play a positive role,we must also realize that the system also has some shortcomings,especially in the qualification of the plaintiff as a subject of environmental public interest litigation.For example,the threshold for social organizations to file environmental public interest litigation is too high.The scope of the plaintiffs who filed environmental public interest litigation is too narrow and citizens are not allowed to file environmental public interest litigation.These have largely restricted the better development of environmental public interest litigation.With the development of practice,we must also keep pace with the times..Therefore,by studying the advanced experience system in the United States,this article finds that their relevant systems have certain reference significance.Therefore,in combination with the actual situation in China,some suggestions are made to improve the qualification of plaintiffs in environmental civil public interest litigation: first,relax social environmental protection Eligibility requirements for organizing environmental public interest litigation;secondly,giving citizens the qualification to file environmental public interest litigation;finally,actively working on the improvement process of the environmental public interest litigation of the procuratorate,with a view to providing certain assistance for the development of environmental public interest litigation...
