300M ultra-high strength steel is a typical difficult-to-machine material for aviation,with high strength,high hardness and low thermal conductivity.In the process of machining,the machining performance is poor,the tool wear is serious,produced a large cutting force,affect the stability of cutting,and the machined surface roughness.In order to improve the processing efficiency and product yield of 300 M ultra-high strength steel,it is necessary to study the tool wear of 300 M ultrahigh strength steel in high speed milling.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Experimental study on the tool life of 300 M ultra-high strength steel millingWith the milling test of 300 M ultra-high strength steel,the wear of the tool was observed by using ultra-depth-of-field microscope,Choose the flank wear 0.25 mm as the standard,measure the flank wear after per milling length,until the flank wear up to standard.The influence of milling parameters on tool life was studied by experimental data,the regression equation of tool life was established,and the significance test of regression equation was carried out.(2)Experimental study on cutting force of 300 M ultrahigh strength steelWith the milling test of 300 M ultra-high strength steel,when the milling length is 4800 mm,the cutting force of each group is selected.The influence of milling parameters on cutting force is analyzed,and the cutting force was analyzed by regressed,the cutting force prediction model is obtained,the influence of different milling parameters and tool wear on the cutting force is analyzed.(3)Experimental study on surface roughness of 300 M ultra-high strength steelWith the milling test of 300 M ultra-high strength steel,when the milling length is 4800 mm,the roughness of the machined surface under the milling parameters of each group is selected,the influence of milling parameters on surface roughness is analyzed.By analyzing the variation of the machined surface roughness under different milling lengths,the influence of tool wear on the roughness of the machined surface was studied.(4)Study on chip shape of 300 M ultra-high strength steel in high speed millingWith the milling test of 300 M ultra-high strength steel,the chip of different milling parameters was collected and the geometric parameters were measured by ultra-depth-of-field microscope.The geometric characterization data of chip was obtained by calculation,the influence of different milling parameters and tool wear on the geometric characterization of sawtooth chip was analyzed.
