Ferrocene-substituted pyridine has attracted much attention because of its unique optical properties and excellent electrochemical reversibility.In recent years,π-conjugated organic metal compounds have been widely used in catalysis,molecular devices,liquid crystal materials,nonlinear optical materials and other research fields.Most reported ferrocenyl pyridine derivatives contain only one ferrocene group,and a few of them contain two or more ferrocenenyl.In this study,we synthesized two series of diferrocene substituted pyridine derivatives.A total of 16 compounds were synthesized in this subject,7 of which had not been reported.Their structures were characterized by 1H NMR,13C NMR,MS,etc and photoelectric properties of these compounds were investigated.Part 1:Synthesis of alkynyl bridge-linked bis-ferrocene-substituted pyridine derivativesWe synthesized a series of acetylene bridge-linked diferrocenyl substituted pyridine derivatives by Sonogashira coupling.Part 2:The study of p H value adjustable photoelectric properties of alkynyl bridge-linked bis-ferrocene-substituted pyridine derivativesThe photochemical properties of the above compounds at different p H values were studied by adjusting the p H value.The photoelectric properties of these compounds could achieve significant reversible changes by adjusting the p H value was found.Part 3:Exploration of synthesis of heterocyclic bridge-linked diferrocene substituted pyridine derivativesFour new thiophene ring bridge-linked diferrocene substituted pyridine derivatives were obtained by cycloaddition of alkyne of compound 8,9 and 15 with sodium sulfide nonahydrate.
