Polymerizable ionic liquids are well known for their unique physical and chemical properties,which were the research focus in the fields of polymer material modification,organic catalytic synthesis,energy transfer et al..In this paper,two types of polymerizable ionic liquids,which were cross-linked and cationic polymerizable,were designed and synthesized.The effects of crosslinking polymerizable ionic liquids as ionic crosslinking agents on the properties of gel materials are studied,and the influence of cationic polymerizable polymerizable ionic liquids as reactive emulsions on the properties of styrene acrylonitrile copolymer?SAN?was studied.The specific research contents were as follows:?1?Five polymerizable ionic liquids DMAEMA-MA,[DMC4]Br,[DMC10]Br,[DM-C4-DM]Br2 and[DM-C10-DM]Br2 were synthesized from dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate?DMAEMA?,maleic acid?MA?or brominated alkane by acid alkali neutralization and quaternization,respectively,which the yields were 95%,70%,84%,80%and 78%.The structure of polymerizable ionic liquid was determined by 1H NMR and IR.The HLB values of[DMC4]Br,[DMC10]Br,[DM-C4-DM]Br2 and[DM-C10-DM]Br2 were 17.6,16.7,35.8 and 34.9,respectively,and the critical micelle concentrations?CMC?were 16.20,11.20,25.61 and 16.13mmol/L,respectively,which the main factors affecting the CMC were the length of alkyl chain and the number of hydrophilic groups,and the longer the alkyl chain,the lower the CMC;the more the number of hydrophilic groups,the higher the CMC.The thermogravimetric analysis of DMAEMA-MA shows that the thermal decomposition mainly occurs at 95?and 110?,and the maximum thermal decomposition temperature is 195?.?2?DMAEMA-MA as a new ionic liquid with unsaturated covalent bonds for both anion and cation was synthesized and poly?2-acrylamide-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid-co-acrylamide??IC-P?AMPS-co-AAM??was prepared by polymerization of acrylamide?AAm?and2-acrylamide-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid?AMPS?.BIS-P?AMPS-co-AAm?was prepared by using N,N'-methylene bisacrylamide?BIS?as a non-ionic crosslinker.IC-P?AMPS-co-AAM?and BIS-P?AMPS-co-AAm?had similar pore structure by SEM.Through the study of the performance of IC-P?AMPS-co-AAM?,when the addition of DMAEMA-MA was 1.6%,the swelling rate in water can reach 235.97%,and it can also be swelling in methanol,acetic acid,tetrahydrofuran,dimethyl sulfoxide.In addition,IC-P?AMPS-co-AAM?had the swelling response of pH and temperature.TGA shows that DMAEMA-MA can improve the thermal stability of IC-P?AMPS-co-AAM?.And,with the increase of DMAEMA-MA,the conductivity of IC-P?AMPS-co-AAM?increased significantly,which the conductivity of IC1.6 reached 58.8?S/cm.?3?Styrene acrylonitrile copolymer?SAN?was prepared with different mass fractions of sodium dodecyl sulfonate?SDS?,[DMC10]Br and[DM-C10-DM]Br2 as emulsifiers.When the amount of emulsifier was 4%,the contact angle of SAN water was 52.50°,77.00°and 84.50°respectively;the monomer conversion was 73.4,88.6 and 90.2%respectively;the particle size was 415.2,339.0 and 320.3 nm respectively;the initial temperature of thermal decomposition of SAN main chain was 331,326 and 353?respectively;the chemical oxygen demand?COD?of wastewater after preparation was 2449,1024 and 937 mg/L respectively.The polymerizable ionic liquid emulsifier improved the water resistance,monomer conversion and COD value of SAN,and increased the initial thermal decomposition temperature of SAN main chain when[DM-C10-DM]Br2 was used.
